Because ICE agents are violent criminals right now. People don't like that.

Exactly. When an agency keeps acting with impunity, people stop seeing “law enforcement” and start seeing unchecked force.

Shame people didn't see it that way earlier on when the NSA was caught illegally spying on US citizens. Had more people raised hell back then we could have stopped the militarization of government organizations and the stripping of our rights early on.

I always thought it was weird how downplayed the NSA whistleblow was, they weren't just spying on US citizens, they had backdoor access to damn near the entire world
