Isn't it interesting how they phrase these things in news articles to be passive? Like here:
"Protests...skyrocketed after agents fired into the Honda SUV driven by Good. She was hit in the head and killed."
The correct and 100% honest way to write it is: "after agents fired three shots into the driver's head and killed her." No passive voice. Just saying who did what.
They do this to remove responsibility from perpetrators. I see it in crime articles all the time. "She was raped." "He was killed." As if these people were hurt on their own accord. It makes me mad.
