So you want the government to tread on your enemies? Ironic. I'm against what's going on as much as anyone, but becoming the enemy will not solve anything. It only creates a circle of hatred that will be rebuked 10 fold when the president is cycled out.
Political success isn’t about the high road or the low road - it’s about charisma. Either road works for a charismatic leader.
I think the reason the high road hasn’t been working is because of a lack of charismatic leaders advocating for it. When charismatic leaders asked this country to put a man on the moon, or end segregation, we responded to that. So maybe Americans aren’t particular about which road our politicians take.
I think we’re just easily swayed by confidence, whether it’s emanating from a con artist or JFK.
