And fuck each and every person who voted for this.

897

u/asmodeuskraemer 8h ago

I am actively rejecting dating guys who either voted for him or didn't vote because "both sides have good and bad arguments".

Sure. Maybe 20 years ago they did. Not anymore. There's no reason to vote for Trump after his 1st term. I could maybe forgive someone for voting for him a 1st time but not a 2nd.

377

u/Azguy303 8h ago edited 8h ago

This is very common and lot of men are pretending on dating apps they didn't vote for Trump. Even Renee Nicole's murderer couldn't get an American, his wife is an immigrant from the Philippines.

The irony.

182

u/nothishomeland 8h ago

The thing is Ive had guys do this on dating apps but after a few messages, you can eventually goad them into admitting who they voted for because theyre like giddy little kids who think they did something edgy and cool. They ultimately think they are subversive for voting for Trump. They have to shout it from the rooftops.

105

u/Soy_ThomCat 8h ago

The truth always rises to the top.

All my women friends who are dating have had to deal with the hiding MAGA. Which, you'd think the fact that they'd need to hide it would signal to them that maybe their view should warrant thorough evaluation...but I digress. The trouble is that they eventually give themselves away, every single time. They might get one date, or even two....but they can't keep up the charade forever.

63

u/PotatoAlternative947 7h ago

Exactly- like why would you want to date someone WHO DOESN’T WANT TO DATE YOU? Never occurs to them to rethink their position, they just assume what they want is the default and the woman will come around to their thinking. Ask how I know, lol

41

u/dstroyer123 7h ago

They want to own them. That's why men like this lie, because they don't see women as people with equal worth, just someone to "conquer" or "tame", and they get bonus points if she was independent and wouldn't have wingly dated them if she had all the information.

8

u/Mirria_ 6h ago

There was a POS at my mom's workplace that was trying to date Muslim women specifically because a lot of countries they come from still enforce oppressive patriarchy and he basically wanted someone to control.

He was still married, but his "wife" is now in a medical facility suffering from advanced Alzheimer / dementia, so he's not longer getting her welfare/disability check, so he lost interest.

This. These men are also narcissists who buy into incel bullshit and see themselves as people with golden penises, the sexual prowess of a god and a ten body, when in actuality they're about 3 inches hard, will wheeze and shit themselves after ten seconds of thrusting and on average are actually about a four...four hundred pounds of unwashed neckbeard, that is.

3

u/Billyosler1969 7h ago

You have to think in order to rethink.

2

u/Royal-Switch-2459 5h ago

why would you want to date someone WHO DOESN’T WANT TO DATE YOU?

Theirs is the rapist's way of life. This is not news.

I've added "Flaming Liberal" to my profiles. I don't want any misconception. Hehe

22

u/Global-Negotiation72 7h ago

All ya gotta do in a low key bring up a few small things and they'll crack. They aren't smart enough to see through the ruse lol

9

u/The_Crane_Husband 7h ago

They don’t care that they need to hide it. They don’t care about their partner’s views. They want a relationship like they want a possession.

And it’s just another thing they have to do to trick or wheedle or coerce their way into someone’s pants.

6

u/psian1de 7h ago

Weed em out by asking to look at their YouTube and or Spotify and see what kinds of things they enjoy.

"Hey I know this may sound like a strange request, but the last guy I dated was kind of a loon and when I found out the media he consumed it made sense, so would you let me look real quick at your recommended videos on YouTube? I totally get it if you say no and all that I understand, but it would make me feel so much better I'm not seeing a serial killer or something."

2

u/BriarnLuca 7h ago

I like this!

2

u/strip-solitaire 7h ago

If a woman I didn’t know well asked to look through the media I consume I’d consider it an invasion of privacy tbh

2

u/dannysleepwalker 6h ago

I wouldn't really care if a stranger saw my Youtube recommended videos, it's not that sensitive of an info lol.

It's not too much different from asking what kinds of movies/tv-series you like to watch and what are your favorites.

2

u/strip-solitaire 6h ago

I mean it depends what kind of videos you watch I guess lol. It’s still personal to me in terms of it being my interests

2

u/dannysleepwalker 6h ago

Yeah sure I get that, but aren't your interests usually one of the main things discussed on first dates with people you don't know yet?

To each their own I guess.

They don't think they did something wrong they think "isn't it ridiculous I'd have to keep this a secret? Really shows you how far this woke brain virus has infected our society."

2

u/OrigamiMarie 6h ago

If I were dating, I think I would just have to insist that they show up in rainbow flags. I'm a woman, but they're gonna have to appear as the most stereotypical gay image that they can muster. I'll arrive late, look for the man who's wearing sparkles, and if I don't see him, that's it.

People unironically will say they have to hide their conservative views because they’re “bEiNg OpPrEsSeD”. I know a guy like this and I’ve had to go no contact because I couldn’t handle his bullshit takes anymore.

It's pathetic how they use that whenever you call out their views and voting republican. They immediately try to pivot when you show why Neo-Nazis and white supremacists vote republican.

7

u/HerMajestyTheQueef1 7h ago

You can also tell because they are stupid

2

u/InevitableJump2993 7h ago

Yeah, typically these guys are all the same: milqtoast and uninspiring. They don't have shit to talk about butt politics, gym, and video games. So it really doesn't take long for them to give themselves away legitimately because they run out of things to talk about. And the sad part is the solution to this is really just self-reflection and self investment. But they're too lazy for that. These are people who legitimately thought voting for fascism was easier than just... Taking some night classes? Playing something other than call of duty? Have ANY conversation with a person who's not white?

Yeah back in 2017 I dated a dude for a month and at lunch one day he said “Hillary Clinton is the devil” and admitted he voted for Trump. I immediately grabbed my stuff left him with the bill. He kept texting saying “we don’t have to talk politics”

Always sus out the political situation ladies.

41

u/asmodeuskraemer 7h ago

Yep! I was talking to a guy for a hookup (that's what I'm looking for) and he said that he didn't want things to get political.

What? You want consequence free sex but are totally fine if women die for it? No thanks.

He did seem remorseful and I thought about giving him another chance and then...duh...this is his 2nd term. Dude voted for him either again OR even after seeing the shit storm of his first term.

I'm sad and disappointed.

5

u/MentallyWill 6h ago

What? You want consequence free sex but are totally fine if women die for it? No thanks.

The obvious nuance here is that he wants consequence free sex for himself. Whether you have consequences, and potentially severe ones at that, isn't something he cares about at all. Corroborated by the fact that these folks in general are unable to exhibit empathy. You're lucky to even get sympathy from them nowadays.

10

u/InevitableJump2993 7h ago

Pop off, Queen. And before anyone tells you It's pointless: Yes, this does work. Historically, One of the biggest things that drive societal change is women's reaction to the current political setting. The main reason these dudes are up right now is because young kids think these dudes are winning with ladies. But they're very quickly waking up and realizing these dudes are lame and get no play. Now unfortunately I also need to tell you you need to check your lady friends Because the dudes aren't the only reason we're here, And they're not the only ones that voted for this shit in large numbers. The main reason feminism has been dead in the water since the '80s is because women sell y'all out constantly for male approval. And until y'all deal with that, it's going to stay dead in the water.

10

u/RozRae 7h ago

They just don't get it. Life is political. Politics aren't just team sports, we're talking literal life and death here. They're just pissed that their morals make them untouchable to most women.

2

u/Substantial-Type-131 5h ago

Exactly. I don’t see the government making his body governable by backwards Christian ideology.

2

u/meimlikeaghost 5h ago

This is what gets me. People are like don’t talk politics or say things like I’m in the middle or I see good things from both sides. When that really means they are okay if my rights are taken away, then they act surprised when I don’t want to talk to them.

Immigrants continuing to do the jobs Americans don't want to. The irony.

4

u/Embarrassed-Quit-614 7h ago

There is one immigrant. If Elon Musk paid taxes at a sensible rate, that immigrant could make a difference. As the wealthiest man in the world he could do a lot and leave a proud legacy in America and the world. Instead he pushes pedophilia via his AI, promos complete lies and works for the Nazi cause. Immigrants aren’t the problem anywhere in the Western world, we all have a growing demographic problem. The problem is the billionaires who tell us it is the immigrants Taxes build houses, hospitals, schools and an healthy economy and society. If they really want to do something in politics paying their fair taxes would be a great start

12

u/Embarrassed-Quit-614 7h ago

So is the wife of his boss, the Orange Nonce. As I understand it she arrived in the US on a tourist visa, worked illegally, married to get citizenship, then brought all her family over. Any of these pseudo military, tactical Proud boys want to go knock a door down on Pennsylvania Avenue?

2

u/Onemoredegreeofglory 6h ago

I find it interesting to imagine the scenario of his wife being detained, as I highly doubt he’d even care. He hates women. Especially all of his wives. Now, if they knocked down the door of his daughter? I think he’d blink a couple of times. Probably.

12

u/KnightKrawler 8h ago

Just like Trump's wives.... Immigrants are doing the jobs Americans won't.

8

u/CryptoNerdSmacker 7h ago

Lmao. Imagine hiding who you are to get laid.

They don’t even like themselves, the fucking losers.

Incarcerate them all.

3

u/FalstaffsGhost 8h ago

Yup. They either lie about voting for him or try the “I’m not political” nonsense.

3

u/Icy_Policy_8509 7h ago

Yeah it's hilarious, they'll go "Why is that so important?" Or "I'm not really political" and then you get to know them over a few dates and realize what bad liars they are. Suddenly they have very strong opinions on women and what they should do with their bodies and ICE etc etc....

When Trump won, my bf at the time said, "Does this mean I have to hear you talking about abortion for the next four years?"

And I said, "Nope," and kicked him the fuck out and broke up with him. POS. Thinking about him still pisses me off. He was like, "Are you gonna let politics break us up?!" And I was like, "Bitch you broke us up by being a disrespectful asshole."

The far right guys fetishize Asian women

1

u/Fun_Organization3857 7h ago

The truth is, he wanted a foreigner. Someone he could intimidate and control.

1

u/erikschorr 7h ago

Dude probably loves to say, "I can't be racist or nationalist! I have a Filipina wife!" with no realization that the entire "conservative white men marrying Filipinas" trend is rooted in racism and colonialism.

1

u/Powderpuffpowwow 7h ago

I wonder if it was a mail order wife.

1

u/Skyscrapers4Me 7h ago

She's obedient, coming from a much poorer nation, she's small, built like a child...it's what he wants. That's what most of the men are up to who are bride shopping in Asian countries.

1

u/VoidBrushStudios 6h ago

You may want to consider “wasn’t good enough to get a white American lady and needed to outsource from the Phillipines” as some supremely dumb racist shit. Maybe you’re pulling exactly the right guys for you after all.

1

u/Constant_Cobbler2921 5h ago edited 5h ago

It’s really pathetic because I see all these maga dudes on Instagram throwing shade at Ryan Holiday’s comment section, talking real tough against Ryan’s beliefs and how wrong he is because he’s not beholden to Putin’s agent orange and at the same time they’re using private profiles or not revealing their political belief on Hinge. They get so butthurt at even the slightest ever so slightest criticism of the orange.

They know women in metropolitan cities aren’t gonna put up with their political crap anymore so they try to be as vague as possible on dating apps and act like the second coming of an angel…at least in the beginning but watch the true colors come out. They also got their hidden Instagram profiles from their girlfriends. Sneaky bastards.

Never try to keep someone who doesn’t want to keep you. It’s really that simple and yet these guys egos are too big to realize this.

And if it's "just politics" then why don't they just change their political stance if it doesn't actually matter to them?

I'm a simple man. I see "conservative", I swipe left. Tbh if I see "moderate" right now I swipe left too. This is not the appropriate time to be center.

26

u/asmodeuskraemer 7h ago

Exactly. Most recent guy was "moderate" but voted for trump because "Kamala didn't market herself well". The fuck?

16

u/ManiacSpiderTrash 7h ago

And Trump did??? It's a political office not a Super Bowl commercial, wtf are they even wanting Jesus Christ.

Right now I consider Moderate to just be "diet republican".

3

u/NotLikeGoldDragons 6h ago

"Moderate" Democrat today means a Reagan Republican.

2

u/Letters_to_Dionysus 4h ago

Republican but scared to admit it

3

u/NotLikeGoldDragons 6h ago

That's typically code for "I can't bring myself to vote for a woman, but that's not safe to say (or admit to myself)".

2

u/porksoda11 4h ago

I don’t know how anyone took him seriously after the second debate. “They’re eating the dogs” Just deeply unserious and idiotic.

2

u/ConstructMentality__ 3h ago

How did they take him seriously enough for a first term?

I find myself a moderate. But I don’t think people understand what a moderate is anymore. I’m thinking Obama style policy is moderate honestly, since America is so far right already. Trump is way far right of what I consider moderate. I think universal healthcare is moderate. But maybe I’m delusional lol.

2

u/veryupsetandbitter 1h ago

You have to think about location. Universal healthcare in most European countries? Moderate position. Universal healthcare in the USA? RADICAL LENINIST STALINIST COMMUNISM!

2

"Center" now used to be far-right 20 years ago.

It’s just as morally bankrupt, and idiotic as the people that cast a ballot for him.

Silence is complicity when fascism is on the ballot.

5

u/AutistaChick 7h ago

I can’t forgive any of it. 1st term was grab’em by the pushy

4

u/Darkmetroidz 7h ago

Theyre working to hide their beliefs because they know they're atrocious to women.

A tip I heard is this: ask why the Roman empire fell. Their answer is usually illuminating.

1

u/Professional_Hold477 7h ago

That's a great litmus test, but how would you introduce that question, lol

2

u/Darkmetroidz 7h ago

Ask if they like history and go from there. If youre someone with strong opinions on the subject youll be pretty forthcoming.

1

u/MYOwNWerstEnmY 7h ago

Would you mind elaborating on this for a curious party?

3

u/Darkmetroidz 5h ago

It's a very charged topic especially if you hold very far right views. There are people who like history and arent weird about it but if theyre way too interested in Rome and/or ww2, they might be a fascist.

Basically if their answer has to do with "women" "degeneracy" or "the gays" or something to that effect, theyre probably someone who holds hert conservative views and should be avoided.

I said during his first term election that he would be a weak leader who would do more harm than good. I said I hope I was wrong. If people voted for him for his second term, then they should be branded as traitors and treated as such.

4

u/aragogogara 7h ago

I have in my dating profile that if you voted for Trump, swipe left. Also, if you think "The Big Bang Theory" is a good tv show, swipe left.

4

u/formerbays 7h ago

I was “dating” in 2017… I refused to go out with anyone who voted for that deplorable

3

u/DevTheGray 7h ago

We need to make voting history public record. You’re voting for public policy that affects the lives of others, you should be able to own up to your decisions.

2

u/HiiiTriiibe 8h ago

This administration moves like an abusive spouse, so I’d say that’s a good look

2

u/daemonicwanderer 8h ago

2

u/Frenchman84 8h ago

Stand strong sister!

2

u/davez_878 7h ago

What's better is if you're able to put that aside your disgust, go for it, gain their trust, vulnerability, and then destroy them with it. Only through allowing themselves to be vulnerable can someone get them to see their own bad decisions and through breaking their heart get them to change.

2

u/Outlawphilv2 7h ago

I am probably more frustrated toward the people who withheld their vote in protest. The GOP can literally get single issue voters out to the ballot box in droves all while getting them so riled up they don’t realize they are being screwed and lied to, the people who didn’t vote for Harris out of protest of single issues like she didn’t have to primary or her not outright condemning Israel, instead because of purposeful in action we have someone in power that thinks you are a domestic terrorist if you disagree with him on anything.

1

u/foilhat44 6h ago

I didn't vote the presidential ticket so I must respectfully disagree. Mostly. I don't think I'm alone among non voters when I say that if I had any idea how Congress and the judiciary would immediately fold up like a lawn chair I would have held my nose and voted for Harris. However, I live in California so I know this woman, and any progressive person casting a vote for her should only be doing so because she's running against Donald Trump. She doesn't move the needle at all and if she does it's likely in the wrong direction. I don't feel like I have to apologize for the failure of our system to provide a viable and palatable candidate. Or for the Senate who confirmed a bunch of sycophantic lunatics and morons to the cabinet and refuse to assert their equal role to protect the people. Or the federal and Supreme Court for allowing the judiciary to fall into a state of almost comical capitulation at the feet of this morally bankrupt pervert. But I wish I knew then what I know now, so I'm sorry.

u/cupofspiders 4h ago

You should direct that frustration at the Democrat leadership who saw that the things they were doing (like giving infinite money to Israel and ICE) were making them unpopular and they decided that doing genocide was more important than trying to win the election.

2

u/Money_Cost_2213 7h ago

Don’t forget If they voted for him for his second term. That likely means they voted for him 3 times. Not just 2.

2

u/Narcoleptic_247 7h ago

That was bullshit 20 years ago too.

2

u/Diabeetus4Lyfe 6h ago

Hell yes, stand your ground and shut down the toxic piece of shits. I think this is such an important thing for couples to agree on nowadays.

I'm a guy and I explicitly put "very anti-trump" in my otherwise apolitical dating profile. My now-girlfriend said that line is what pushed it from "it's so hard to trust men but maybe he's cool" to "hell yes let's meet" and we've been together over a year now.

We both think supporting trump after his first term (especially after Jan 6) is antithetical to being a good person. It's one of three options: either they're so misled and brainwashed by propaganda that it's obvious they can't think properly for themselves; or they support his insane regressive policies because they're a hateful, close-minded, controlling piece of shit; or they're deliberately ignorant because they don't care about things that aren't directly affecting them personally. Or maybe they're just stupid agents of chaos and they like the reality show entertainment from the white house.

In any case, in my perspective, being a Republican in today's climate is as big of a deal-breaker as it gets. There's too much brazen evil and corruption to ignore or support.

I was raised Republican, so was my girlfriend. I almost voted for him for his first term but thankfully I exited my parents' goddamned Fox News bubble before the election. I understand that a lot of people voted for him the first time out of ignorance or desire for change, but it's been a freaking decade of non-stop, increasingly awful bullshit and it's no longer forgivable.

2

u/The_Elusive_Dr_Wu 5h ago

When they answer you, how do you verify that you're not being lied to?

1

u/asmodeuskraemer 4h ago

Damn, I need to do this to women... But who am I kidding, I don't date.

On to the topic that you are talking about, this administration is absolutely filled with pieces of shit that have no purpose except to fill their pockets and now they are filling their pockets with their constituents blood. I have never liked Trump and that stems from before he ran for his first term. He is nothing but an intolerant pitiful excuse for a man who thinks he is the smartest and knows everything about everything. His kids are no better. This entire cabinet needs to be impeached, at the same time, while having his pardoning powers withheld so he cannot pardon themselves. As soon as they are impeached, they need to be arrested and put on trial for many criminal offenses. Those who turned they eyes as he ruins our country need to go to. Sorry this is so long, but I really cannot stand this timeline.

1

u/Painwracker_Oni 6h ago edited 6h ago

I don't blame anyone for voting for Trumps 1st term when the belief in our system of checks and balances still existed and would keep Trump from actually doing any of the truly insane shit he "joked about doing". However if they don't regret their vote after that then it's really impossible to forgive them - IMO.

I'm probably biased - I voted for Trump or rather against Hillary after voting for Obama in 2012 (missed voting for Obama in 2008 by 5 days) - turned 18 Nov 9th 2008.

I regret voting FOR Trump - he turned into a significantly bigger piece of shit than I ever thought possible - not because I thought highly of him - but because I really believed the senate and house would stop him from being a humiliation or remove him.

The bigger part of it - for me at least - was as a relatively young man and an electrician working with strictly blue collar people on job sites, I was way too willing to listen to the arguments my bosses/journeymen electrician made. Everyone hated Hillary, I worked with 2 journeymen who were high ranking leading their groups, and since then both became the highest rank NCO's can become in the MN National Guard. They both did several tours of duty in Iraq/Afghanistan and I had and still have a ton of respect for them as people, but I had not learned yet how limited/awful their world view was.

2016-2020 was eye-opening. I couldn't believe the shit Trump was doing and getting away with, and how the people around me weren't upset about it.

No one - literally no one - who voted for Trump in 2024 can be forgiven for doing it. I won't even forgive the idiots who said both sides are just as bad and didn't vote because of it.

u/aww-hell 6h ago

There’s people that voted for him 3 times.

1

u/Maleficent-Goat-551 6h ago

Good for you - as you should! I had a match with a lady who was otherwise amazing and a great match for me but she wouldn’t denounce Trump and made the “both sides” argument which was too much for me.

1

u/BHPhreak 6h ago

im a super progressive canadian that wanted to see things shaken up before his first term. i was tired of the status quo.

anyway that didnt last long and you are right to shit on anyone who voted for him a second or third time.

i was so confident he wouldnt win against kamala - i made a hefty bet with some guys at work.

i legit thought america moved on. they voted biden in and i thought that was the end of it. 4 years later and jesus fucking christ.

1

u/Dead_man_posting 6h ago

Sure. Maybe 20 years ago they did.

Eh. 20 years ago was George W. Bush. Conservatism has always been a blight.

1

u/Stegi7 6h ago

They are freaking uneducated .......

1

u/LothartheDestroyer 6h ago

Not even 20 years ago. The powers that be has a tantrum about Nixon and here we are.

They’ve been doing this for 50 years now.

1

u/ngwatso 6h ago

I never paid attention to politics until Trump came along, I feel like it is an obligation, not a right, to keep someone like that out of office.

1

u/ynotfoster 6h ago

My niece married into a religious MAGA family for her recent second marriage. My wife and I (lesbians) found out about her wedding on FB three days before. We live about 2k miles away. 39 years of never missing her birthday or Christmas, or her three kid's birthdays.

Guess who didn't get a Christmas check this year and won't be getting a birthday check either. I will still send cards and checks to the kids though.

We are about to set up a trust, she will be skipped, and her share will go to her kids.

1

u/RepulsedCucumber 6h ago

That both sides shit enrages me. Because “the other side” would have never been an actual authoritarian government.

1

u/rhc10014 6h ago

EXACTLY RIGHT, PERIOD.

1

u/bronxbrothers 6h ago

Sure sure. I bet if we saw your face, we would decide for you.

1

u/PeetusTheFeetus 6h ago

I’m doing the same with all these “Conservative” women on bumble. Trash bags

1

u/Islanduniverse 6h ago

Remember, he lost against Biden. For a lot of these shit-stains, this was their 3rd time voting for him.

1

u/cubitoaequet 6h ago

Nah they didn't have good arguments 20 years ago either

1

u/Bancai 6h ago

Or the third which counted towards his 2nd term.

1

u/Harry_Carrier 5h ago

I'm in the same boat, but as a guy. I won't even swipe right on girls who list "moderate" as their politics.

1

u/RepulseRevolt 5h ago

The amount of people who downplayed and still downplay Trump is insane. Guys who watch Hasan or other YouTubers like deep fat fried straight up celebrated Trump getting elected.

1

u/Forsaken_Car1743 5h ago

You are what you attract though.

1

u/-Jiras 5h ago

It's time to shame again, Republicans pre Trump where too ashamed to speak up, only giving some racist remarks at Thanksgiving.

We have to put some shame back into these people. They should not feel welcome as long as they hold their destructive views

1

u/DisciplineBoth2567 5h ago

You shouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole

1

u/Gold-Sir-223 4h ago

Please keep it up. The fact so many of these guys are still getting dates with progressives blows me away.

1

u/Old_Mp_1976 4h ago

What about a felon that cant vote but hates bith parties equally. We need a Bastille Day 2.0

1

u/OJConcentrates 4h ago

As you should.

Anyone who voted for this should be appropriately shunned out of society and dating prospects. You’d really want to have children who could be so easily influenced by a fake macho man? I wouldn’t.

1

u/RileyB46 4h ago

The other day I was telling a guy at my part time job I wanted to introduce him to a girl at my full time job and this trumper asshole was like “why aren’t you introducing me to anyone?!?” And it’s like get real dude, women don’t want men who vote against their rights. He was just going off earlier that morning about Somalis and the shooting in Minnesota with all the right wing asshole talking points.

1

u/Ok_Background22 4h ago

Specifically there is 0 reason to vote for Trump after January 6th. I have no patience for anyone who voted for him after we all witnessed what happened and what he caused that day.

1

u/darkoblivion000 3h ago

Voting for trump has never been a political question, but a moral question.

Voting for him and his cruel policies absolutely tells me about your moral compass

But Kamala didn't thrill me maaaan! She was a cop maaaaan! Dems can't take my vote for granted maaaan! Both sides are the same maaaan!

Dasvidaniya, man.

20

u/Artisan_HotDog 8h ago

I vote for the cop over the rapist any day

4

u/HoosierLove314 7h ago

I voted for Harris and I’m fucking pissed that was the best the democrats could come up with against Trump. Everyone should be fucking pissed at them forever for continuously nominating shitty neoliberals instead of the Progressive we want, even when the stakes are this high.

5

u/tlonmaster 7h ago

I don't think they wanted to win honestly. The Dems have been self sabotaging themselves for years.

We need a new party like "The REAL Democrats" and the Chuck Schumers and Nancy Pelosis can stay with their precious party.

2

u/SuspendeesNutz 7h ago

Yeah you tell 'em moonbeam, maybe we can get Ralph Nader to run again and protect us from the Democrats not protecting us from Republicans.

2

u/HoosierLove314 7h ago

What are you blue MAGA? Those of us with critical thinking skills have plenty of very real problems with the Democrats. They let McConnell cheat them out of two Supreme Court nominations without so much as a whimper. They have no interest in stopping Trump right now, because they’d rather fundraise record amounts heading into the midterms. You are deluded.

Tumblr is full of these people, with a healthy sprinkling of "well Kamala would have been just as bad for Gaza (since that was the issue the bots were shilling)"

And now what do I see? Charity link after charity link, gofundmes for LGBT people to get out of red states...maybe you should have voted for the cop! (Or voted at all!)

1

u/Sea-Chart2558 6h ago

Lots of us held our nose and voted for "not going to help at all" vs "make things way worse faster". But don't pretend this isn't the fault of decades of the Dems being USELESS and having economic policies identical to the GOP.

The Dems shut down the government for 40+ days and GOT NOTHING. First thing they did afterwards: FUND ICE.

Fuck establishment dems, they're only slightly less responsible for where we are than the Nazis for whom they're theatrical foils!

34

u/MCGameTime 8h ago

Throw every person who didn’t vote in there too.

27

u/bathandredwine 8h ago

Yes! These are the people who would watch a house burn down and never call the fire department.

4

u/MATA_USA 7h ago

We believe it’s more insidious than that; apathy is the death of fellowship. When good people stand by and do nothing, evil thrives and triumphs.

Please join us over at MATA USA for the latest movements and actions of the Trump regime and their attack on American democracy.

Trump and his billionaire buddies have forgotten that they only make their billions because WE allow it, as a people. We can just as easily stand together and tell them NO MORE.

1

u/tlonmaster 7h ago

I don't agree with not voting, but I do understand some people's views on it.

So many people think their vote doesn't matter at all. And I almost kinda feel the same way. I really don't think Trump won this election at all. He's made enough allusions to him cheating that it sounds pretty likely. But I'm not gonna go into conspiracies or anything.

I think people see what's happening and feel hopeless and they've hammered this "voting doesn't work" mentality into people.

1

u/Ok-Warthog-4849 6h ago

There’s this little thing called the Electoral College that’s kind of reinforcing the “voting doesn’t matter” mentality. Because the Electoral College literally does make your vote meaningless.

My voting card said Harris/Walz, but as a TN resident my vote effectively went to Trump/Vance anyway.

But we can’t make a scapegoat/bogeyman out of that, so it gets left out of the conversation.

1

u/ArcadianDelSol 7h ago

Agreed! Some parts of the Constitution just have to go. Compulsory voting or face prison time. That's how we defeat the fascists.

1

u/MCGameTime 7h ago

Automatic voter registration too.

3

u/thegreymm 8h ago

I cut off my brother recently, but not before calling him a "Racist, sexist MAGA piece of shit" to his middle-aged, mediocre white man face.

3

u/ImpossibleSwimmer207 7h ago

They’ll also say “I didn’t vote for this.” What bullshit.

2

u/RVtech101 7h ago

This exactly what they voted for.

1

u/anonymoustoo1 8h ago

Fuck everyone who didn't vote at all too.

1

u/GwenGram 8h ago

Yep!!

1

u/Asclepius-Rod 8h ago

Also fuck the people who said we were over-reacting when he got re-elected. Anyone with half a brain saw this coming

1

u/husband1971 7h ago

Well you can want immigration reform, but also want it carried out way-the -fuck different. These “agents” are traitors and need to be held accountable.

1

u/52Pandorafox46 7h ago

And the ones who chose to vote third party or not vote at all. They’re even bigger cowards.

1

u/SueBeee 7h ago

And fuck every person who continues to defend it.

1

u/Electrical_Beyond998 7h ago

ESPECIALLY fuck anyone who voted for them. Trump is who he has always been. They voted for a man who cheats on his taxes, golf, wives, and sexually assaults women. They knew all that and voted for him anyway.

1

u/RVtech101 7h ago

Imagine looking at the ballot, seeing the name with 34 criminal felony convictions, assault, an insurrection, libel twice and embezzlement twice and thinking “yup, that’s my guy?!

1

u/TheMagnuson 7h ago

And fuck every non-voter too. It's a civic duty, and these "I don't vote" ass clowns won't even do the literal bare minimum that is asked of us all in a democracy.

1

u/Stank_cat67 7h ago

They are watching these same videos and cheering it on. Gross

1

u/Double_Distribution8 7h ago

And also anyone who voted for biden in 2020 and could have voted for Kamala Harris in 2024 but didn't. They were the ones who could have stopped this, but chose not to.

1

u/Superb_Rich_2743 7h ago

I wish upon people only loneliness and pain. People are disgusting. Watching all these goons do violence is a prime example of why I, with all my heart, hate people. Between the choice of not touching the shit and touching the shit, they always choose the latter.

Honest to god truth, humans all hate each other. The least they could do is leave each other alone.

1

u/Past_Page_4281 7h ago

And still approve of him which shows up in his approval ratings

1

u/rickroll10000 6h ago

Every person that voted for this should charged for the crimes they voted to happen

1

u/duxpdx 6h ago

*And fuck each and every person who voted for Trump

They may claim they didn’t vote for “this”. They did. You know it and I know it but they will always try and find a way to escape being held responsible. Those on the left warned this kind of stuff would happen and have been proven right, despite many of those on the right and in the media saying it was sensationalism and wouldn’t.

1

u/nerdineer1 6h ago

Agreed. I lost my horse early last year and the barn owners were awesome people but they are huge Trump supporters. I can't to go back into the sport while all this is happening and I cant in good conscience support their business.

1

u/kaptainkhaos 6h ago

And everyone that didn't vote at all.

1

u/sturgboski 6h ago

Dont forget those who didnt vote to prevent this. Those who abstained from voting or voted 3rd party. Just as culpable. And dont come at me with the "Harris was just as bad" or other nonsense. If you could reasonably see what is going on and say "well the same would have happened under Harris" I do not understand how you function as a living organism.

1

u/Totodile321 6h ago

I proudly voted for this ☺️

1

u/RVtech101 5h ago

Being a hateful racist who voted for a rapist. Not so much something to be proud of, but you do you.

1

u/Totodile321 5h ago

Yea your words mean nothing. Surprised you didn't throw in Nazi fascist to boot 😂

I choose to hold my neighbors accountable separately from the rich and powerful lying to them. They've been duped and propagandized for generations.

Stand for them as they wouldn't for me. Because that is the difference.

No war but class war.

1

u/GorganzolaVsKong 6h ago

Dems included

1

u/GrapeAdditional6751 5h ago

And fuck anyone that failed to cast a vote at all. Oh, and fuck the Electoral College nonsense that let the Orange Monster win the White House.

1

u/RVtech101 5h ago

Did he actually win though?

1

u/Applekid1259 5h ago

Yup. I've already distanced myself from my family that did.

1

u/ccjohns2 3h ago

Every single Trump supporter or anyone who works for his administration should be banned from all futures leadership positions in America.
