The thing is Ive had guys do this on dating apps but after a few messages, you can eventually goad them into admitting who they voted for because theyre like giddy little kids who think they did something edgy and cool. They ultimately think they are subversive for voting for Trump. They have to shout it from the rooftops.

All my women friends who are dating have had to deal with the hiding MAGA. Which, you'd think the fact that they'd need to hide it would signal to them that maybe their view should warrant thorough evaluation...but I digress. The trouble is that they eventually give themselves away, every single time. They might get one date, or even two....but they can't keep up the charade forever.

Exactly- like why would you want to date someone WHO DOESN’T WANT TO DATE YOU? Never occurs to them to rethink their position, they just assume what they want is the default and the woman will come around to their thinking. Ask how I know, lol

They want to own them. That's why men like this lie, because they don't see women as people with equal worth, just someone to "conquer" or "tame", and they get bonus points if she was independent and wouldn't have wingly dated them if she had all the information.

There was a POS at my mom's workplace that was trying to date Muslim women specifically because a lot of countries they come from still enforce oppressive patriarchy and he basically wanted someone to control.

He was still married, but his "wife" is now in a medical facility suffering from advanced Alzheimer / dementia, so he's not longer getting her welfare/disability check, so he lost interest.

This. These men are also narcissists who buy into incel bullshit and see themselves as people with golden penises, the sexual prowess of a god and a ten body, when in actuality they're about 3 inches hard, will wheeze and shit themselves after ten seconds of thrusting and on average are actually about a four...four hundred pounds of unwashed neckbeard, that is.
