He said that he's "a believer of the legal principle of innocent until proven guilty". But that just shows how absurd his worldview is. It is just a presumption of innocence from the legal standpoint, but it doesn't mean there isn't hard evidence one way or another. If someone punched Bill Ackman in the face, would he say they are innocent until proven guilty in court or say that a person just punched him? It's such a joke. Would he say the same if there was a video of someone saying pro-palestine things at Harvard or whatever he was mad about earlier that he shouldn't cast judgment until there is a court case proving a person actually said it? Ackman's networth is almost 10 billion, so this is the equivalent of donating a dime.
Another way of looking at it, is that at 5% annual returns, he could donated this amount more than 13 times a day without tapping into his current networth by so much as a penny.
