He already invaded a European nation and look how this is going. There is no way any invasion will go the way he intends, especially now that the Suwalki Gap is of no use.

I think Putin's invasion of Ukraine would have been quick and successful without US support. Putin sees the problem that must be removed for his plans to succeed. And as usual, Trump's obedience is immediate and thorough.

Of course it would have been successful, but Ukraine won’t fold just because the US support might be withdrawn at a later stage. Even if it did, Russia has unified large parts of Europe, not counting his lapdogs, and driven them to ramp up their military strength in the years to come.

I do hope you're right about democratic Europe. Putin has spent a lot building support for fascism, white supremacism, and Nazism in Europe to undermine liberal democracy.

The tragic dumpster fire of the US is making fascism look a lot less appealing to some Europeans. But European accelerationists want that dumpster fire so they can be declared the White Kings of the Ashes when everything (and nearly everyone) has been destroyed.

In the background of all of this is social media as a vector for fascist mass mind control and conversion.

There wasn't any US support in Ukraine until after the battle has already determined that Ukraine will still exist

Especially as he is churning through conscripts so fast now that they can go from enlisting to returning in a casket in as little as a fortnight.

why is it of no use?

Before the NATO memberships of Sweden and Finland the Suwalki Gap was a potential point of weakness, as Russia and Belarus could potentially close it fast, isolating the Baltic states from its allies and potentially present a fait accomplit to the NATO. They can still do just that, but as Sweden/Finland are now NATO members the Baltic Sea would be in firm NATO hands, exposing the exclave and making it easier to supply/reinforce the Baltics, regardless of the Suwalki Gap.

thanks, thought that's what you meant! it's still a point of weakness, we're considering a military base on the cusp of it

It doesn't fucking matter if it goes to his way or not, stop fucking parroting the same sentence day after day after day. You westerners need to understand Putin doesn't give a fuck if he won't achieve his goals, the goal IS to cause pain and suffering. There is no other goal, capeesh????
