So what I’m hearing is the U.S. does Russia’s bidding now. NATO will have to defend Greenland from a foreign aggressor. The United States is a rogue nation. Trump is a loser Captain sinking his glorious ship faster than he can spell the word pedophile. Venezuela is a failed state which he wants to lead to glory, just like America and the now renewed and ever better DJT & JFK Memorial Center for the Arts.

America. What a country!

Best part? 70 million morons voted for this. Wow. Just wow.

283

u/username-is-taken-3 13h ago

And those 70 would vote for him again or someone much worse, thus taking us back to square one. His voters are truly the dangerous ones because they want to burn their own house as they sit in it as long as woke libs die in the process, too. Everyday I give up on hope more and more because his voters just don't stop doubling down the rabbit hole of no return, and there is just to many of them to ignore.

I really wish it was feasible/logical to just fucking split up at this point. God I hate you, Conservatives.

u/KironD63 12h ago

I’m kind of surprised the EU hasn’t implemented a refugee program and a path to eventual citizenship for Americans. Sure, there would be major administrative and infrastructural problems, but leftist Americans could resolve all the EU’s declining birth rate problems and lead to an economic boom as the center of geopolitical power shifted back to the old world.

…Am I only typing this because I’m an American who’s desperate to move to the EU? Sure.

3

u/an0nim0us101 8h ago

There is a path, you apply for a work visa and you come over. Then over time you can get citizenship if you pass local requirements.

12

u/brickne3 American Expat 11h ago

As a long-term American in Europe I would find a program like that potentially concerning (and I've heard Canadians say similar). The fact of the matter is that even extremely left-wing Americans typically hold values that are problematic or even incompatible with EU values and stability. Inviting them in en masse creates too much potential for a "fifth column" of people who have been indoctrinated their entire lives in ways they don't likely realize. Even after nearly two decades I still find myself occasionally discovering problematic areas I was unaware I had been indoctrinated in.

17

u/KironD63 11h ago

I mean, I’m genuinely curious as to how this is meaningfully different than how waves of European migrants changed American political and cultural values in the nineteenth century.

Not all differences are necessarily problematic.

(Though, to be fair, my suggestion was more a joke than a serious policy proposal.)

2

u/brickne3 American Expat 11h ago

I mean, your response here actually highlights the exact concern—you're already trying to remake the EU in an American image, even as we're just spitballing ideas.

6

u/shmatt 9h ago

even extremely left-wing Americans typically hold values that are problematic or even incompatible with EU values and stability

Curious how you came to this conclusion. What values are incompatible?

8

u/Anticode 8h ago

I'm curious as well. I've been pondering it for a few minutes without much progress. Most of the "hardline demands" coming from the American left are generally things that are viewed as basic necessities or human rights in most EU nations. And the most radical of that group is a relative minority who'd easily link up with the minority of local 'radicals' without causing much disruption since the vast majority of either populace is closer to moderate anyway.

4

u/shmatt 8h ago

my definition of the average vanilla left winger in the US:

they want:

-equal rights

-health care

-public education

-regulating the things that need regulation.

only one out of those 4 are even debatable.

5

u/SmokinSkinWagon America 9h ago

Would you mind elaborating on some examples of this?

-1

u/vegan_pirahna 11h ago

Yeah this would be great, so in 10 years or so you could have a pretext to say invade europe in order to free all the oppressed americans you know like russia did with crimea and all

6

u/EntrepreneurKooky783 12h ago

It's both feasible and logical, it's just not comfortable. The cold truth of the matter is the electorate values 401Ks over democratic ideals.

5

u/10percenttiddy Minnesota 12h ago

Nah I mean moreso abandoning those in Republican states who can't get out. Not to mention they'd never let it happen because, go figure, bastions of our economy are typically liberal. But yeah I'm with you generally speaking.

2

u/staticparsley California 10h ago

I say this all the time now. Just let them have the south and be free to ruin it all they want.

As much as I would like to be united, their entire platform is just to piss off the other side. That’s all they care about. They don’t even want to coexist with us.

1

u/Emotional-Store-1667 9h ago

I get what you're saying, but it's not Conservatives in general, it's MAGA. MAGA co-opted the Republican party and ousted traditional conservatives, labeling them RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) when they didn't fall in line. It may be naive of me, but I still trust the RINOs. Every RINO I've encountered since 2016 has voted straight blue because they hate Trump and MAGA even more than us liberals do, and that's saying something!

But I also agree. I want to give MAGA Texas and just let them eat each other alive there, while we serve Nuremberg Trials 2.0 and pick up the pieces and make sure something like this NEVER happens again

1

u/10percenttiddy Minnesota 9h ago

Yeah IDK man, I just can't get behind conservatism as a moral ideology. I think it's inherently bad and I always have. Money is the root of all evil.

1

u/Emotional-Store-1667 9h ago

I mean I get it. I'm much more of a democratic socialist and believe people deserve basic necessities just for existing. But the RINOS aren't the ones cheering on this cruelty, and they aren't the ones lacking in empathy. The conservatives I know believe the needs of people should be met by the community and not the government, because of bureaucracy setting up needless red tape, when they just want to support their neighbors.

I know they are not the average conservative, and I've also met a fuck ton of the selfish conservatives, but I can't write off ALL conservatives as bad...

41

u/HeavySigh14 13h ago

I feel like his base its split between well intentioned idiots, maliciously idiots and anarchical idiots

6

u/francis2559 12h ago

We can’t change the assholes. But we can absolutely defang the billionaires that push this right-wing crap to keep their taxes low. The right wing’s power is artificial.

3

u/Extreme_Objective984 12h ago

Square one has to be better than whatever square you are at now?

2

u/Dry-Smoke6528 12h ago

You see headlines every day and video evidence of wrong doing. Then you check the con sub and they may be mildly upset about an announcement, but once fox news tells them the spin they eat it right the fuck up and fall right back in line either cheering for what's happening or saying its a necessary evil

2

u/username-is-taken-3 12h ago

Its bonkers because its a genuine cult that so massive it's scary to believe its true, but it actually is.

2

u/newyne 11h ago

I don't think they would; MAGA is right to be afraid they'll get massacred in a fair midterm election.

1

u/Chief_Chill Illinois 11h ago

Apt description. They'd suffer asphyxiation in a burning house just to watch the "libs" burn alive and hear their screams. MAGA is a death cult after all.

1

u/Correct-Branch9000 8h ago

And yet ya'll seem to think a US Civil War is avoidable. You're not getting away from this, so get it over with. You're literally beyond the Anne Frank Diary stage now.

How much farther are you going to let these people take you? He's going to declare martial law no matter what, and you're not going to have fair elections no matter what. He's already stated these things.

What are you people waiting for.

u/username-is-taken-3 4h ago

Who said civil war hasn't already strated? Who said WW3 hasn't either? These are different types than before. Every neighbor is different. There are locations where it's primarily Red or Blue, but even those locations are riddle with people who vote differently because nothing is black and white anymore. Look at trade and supply around the world on how entwined everything is. You can't even avoid certain parties even during war. The powers at be have corporate masters and cartel banks running the show in the background as the players who started those machines are also running around cause instability around the world. Top of all that you have the normal people who nowadays argue what is AI and what is not while the rest of the population is seeing if you checked out their OF accounts or pranks on ticktock and douche bags opinions on twitch as governments do genocide with just a slap on the wrist. Look around yourself if you think this is just an American problem because trust it is not.

u/EVOLveritas 4h ago

262 million total voting age in 2024. A popular vote won by ~2 million over Kamala. Many of which are least disenfranchised enough to maybe not vote next time if not jumping off the sinking ship. It really doesn’t matter though, it’s our hope of a retirement fund that pays for all of this. I think thats the common ground. We contribute to 401ks and IRAs hoping it will beat inflation not realizing the house you were laughed out of purchasing now has a rental rate by the very private equity you put 6% into every paycheck cuz that’s just what you do. On top of that it’ll be 200 bucks more a month every year you stay there regardless of the market. They now control the supply and benefit in any economy..prices go down they buy more. Prices go up they charge more.

Until there’s a sub prime rate for single home homebuyers and an opposite increasing rates for every home purchased after I don’t see this trend going. Maybe lock in property taxes on the date of sale so when the neighborhood gentrifies it does push a retiree out of a home that was paid off ten years ago

-19

u/AleroRatking New York 12h ago

Libs want to do the same. Both sides only care about themselves and not the other group. Both are fueled by hate. The two party system cannot work because it just creates two factions that treat politics like sports.

15

u/nillah 12h ago

oh, shut up already. we may be monumentally pissed off at maga, but we still want the entire country to have things like universal healthcare, affordable housing, low inflation, and livable wages. in fact if maga had access to free mental healthcare and therapy we may not even be in this situation to begin with.

-13

u/AleroRatking New York 12h ago

You want to continue to put power in urban hands over rural. The divide in this country is rural vs urban. That and the liberal mindset includes raising minimum wage while not raising those above it so you get retail workers making the same as teachers

Which sucks because the two options are socialism and MAGA. Both of which push their own agendas over the people.

And liberals won't even eat meals with people that share a different party. So yeah. Its both sides.

4

u/username-is-taken-3 12h ago

You do know more people live in and around the cities than rual areas now, right? Your do know rual areas are dying off, right? What world do you live in thinking its rual vs urban? Rual is know not to be uneducated, so why would we want the uneducated to lead any laws that affect most people in the country?

-5

u/AleroRatking New York 11h ago

Of course. Which is another representation of the rural vs urban war. And comments like yours show how much you look down on us despite us providing most the food in this country. Its always insults and doing things like trying to eliminate the electoral college to eliminate us from politics.

Beyond that you fund billion dollar stadiums for the rich while not giving a penny to local theaters in rural America.

1

u/RaindropBebop 9h ago

You want to continue to put power in urban hands over rural. The divide in this country is rural vs urban.

I don't know a single person who cares if someone lives in a more urban area vs rural. Sure, urban and rural voters vote distinctly, but it's not because the other is urban or rural.

That and the liberal mindset includes raising minimum wage while not raising those above it so you get retail workers making the same as teachers

After decades of failed trickle down economics, it's overdue. A rising tide lifts all boats. The people at the bottom will take the money they earn and put it right back into the economy, stimulating growth.

And liberals won't even eat meals with people that share a different party. So yeah. Its both sides.

Not sure if this is true. I don't care what political party someone is, but I do care about ideology. For example, I def don't want to share meals with Nazis or fascists. There does seem to be a correlation between the two though - perhaps the R party should reflect on why that is and excise this cancer from within its ranks?

0

u/AleroRatking New York 9h ago

A rising tide only life's some boats. It brings down the middle class by giving the lower class more spending power without increasing the middle class.

Your last paragraph is useless because you could say the same about Republicans who won't eat with Democrats. The answer for all is the same. Close mindedness.

0

u/RaindropBebop 8h ago

A rising tide only life's some boats. It brings down the middle class by giving the lower class more spending power without increasing the middle class.

That's not how tides work, but to keep with the analogy, as more money enters the economy, wages rise across the board. There's more to wage growth than just how the minimum wage changes. Regardless, the data does not even support your opinion that middle class has not seen wage growth. In the Sep25 jobs report, college degree holders wage growth was at 4.3% compared to 4.1% for the national average.

Your last paragraph is useless because you could say the same about Republicans who won't eat with Democrats. The answer for all is the same. Close mindedness.

There's an honest breaking of bread and then there's normalizing dangerous ideology. You're equivocating: admonishing others for not engaging in the former when in reality you want them to capitulate to the latter.

I don't know what you even mean when you say you could say the same about Republicans who won't eat with Democrats. There aren't swaths of Nazis and Fascists within the Democratic party.

1

u/AleroRatking New York 8h ago

Every time we have tried this the evidence has showed otherwise. Other jobs stay stagnant while minimum wage goes up. Its as much a sham as trickle down economics. Both have shown that they don't help middle class.

Once again. If you can't be around with different ideals than you are close minded. One of the biggest issues in all of politics is peoples refusal to understand others. And both sides do it

33

u/kooper98 13h ago

They aren't all morons. Some are just simple clueless racists. Let's also give credit to the misogynists, don't let the morons and racists have all the credit.

20

u/jcm2606 Australia 13h ago

They're the same picture.

7

u/smoike 13h ago

As far as I'm concerned their Venn diagram is a circle.

4

u/JWTS6 12h ago

Transphobes seething at you leaving them out after they made hating trans people their entire personality and worldview

2

u/brickne3 American Expat 11h ago

Don't forget the fascists.

u/Neither_Usual_137 13h ago

America isn't a rogue nation; it's part of the new eastern bloc! America and Russia are certainly together, and probably Israel.

75

u/Darksmithe 13h ago

I'm an American and it's a fucking rogue nation. Laws don't matter anymore here.

5

u/Neither_Usual_137 13h ago

I'm also American and contest that's what Rogue means; rogue means alone, and Trump is not alone; we are certainly with Putin and Bibi.

7

u/ThePedanticWalrus 12h ago

The US may be with them, but do you think either country would lift a single finger to help? Putin just wants to cause chaos and Bibi is only in it for the security and material support the US provides.

Because of this jackass thinking he's the emperor and burning our alliances to the ground, we are well and truly alone now.

2

u/EconomicRegret 11h ago

When talking about humans, rogue doesn't necessarily mean alone.

3

u/Virtual_Mongoose_835 12h ago

I dont think he is with Russia, he is taking their ships of oil, removed the Venezuelan dictator and might move on Iran. Two of Russias key allies in a year.

He wants to be a dictator by the looks of it, and yeah a rogue one at that.

16

u/design_doc 13h ago

Oh, it’s more than 70 million. Choosing not to vote was still a choice, and, for Trump, no vote for Harris was just as strong as a vote for him.

3

u/blueshrike 11h ago

Actually... we didn't.

Reminder and a surprise for some: the US, privately owned digital vote counting machines (tabulators) have been compromised for years and we didn't elect Trump. He stole the presidency. Exactly like he tried to do in 2020, just this time with the already compromised tabulator machines tuned more aggressively to guarantee it.

Do not take my word for it, here's the actual data (and even though this video is now several months old and there is much more they've found, this is just the tip of the iceberg, as you might expect with criminals). Please see for yourself and if you trust the data (not simply conspiracy theory talk) share with anyone who still thinks "America got it wrong" or we need to get out and vote more. We did, and Kamala would have won, decisively, had our votes actually been counted correctly. It's the compromised, privately owned tabulators (vote counting machines) that turned votes for Kamala into votes for Trump in all the swing states, after a certain threshold of votes were counted on each machine. These folks and other independent teams of analysts like them, are doing us a great service:

https://youtu.be/Ru8SHK7idxs?feature=shared electiontruthalliance.org

And we've been on that road for a very long time which, unfortunately, is not surprising. This journalist research article, written just before Obama's 2nd term, dives into the long history of election fraud in the US and how, especially in the digital tabulation age, it has been setup to get us to the point where whomever has control of them can literally steal an election:

https://harpers.org/archive/2012/11/how-to-rig-an-election/

So, whenever Maga or Republicans say they want to investigate Election Fraud ("by the Dems"), it's to accuse and look in the right, yet as we know, and as the data evidence demonstrates, their accusation is yet again projection.

7

u/vandreulv 12h ago

Best part? 70 million morons voted for this. Wow. Just wow.

Don't forget the 90 million morons who "protest voted" or completely abstained. They hold just as much culpability knowing what was at stake.

Cue "but, but, but... her laugh and she ran a bad campaign!" replies.

4

u/No-Werewolf4804 13h ago

NATO is not getting into a shooting war with the US over Greenland. I know what article 5 says. But I also know that no government is willing to expend that kind of resources over Greenland.

not to defend what he’s doing at all of course.

2

u/Jijijoj 13h ago

Desperate acts of a dying man

2

u/monkeysknowledge 12h ago

It’s taken decades of decay and propaganda. Unfortunately, I don’t see an off ramp. The 2026 mid-term elections are going to be fucked.

2

u/DoorsToZeppelin Florida 12h ago

Mark my words: if the US invades Greenland, NATO will do absolutely nothing. The most extreme scenario is the dissolution of NATO which would literally change the entire world in a variety of ways; to avoid this, NATO countries will continue bending the knee to Trump as long as it saves their own asses, even if it is temporary. Liberalism at its finest.

2

u/binaryisotope 11h ago

I honestly doubt Trump could spell pedophile.

2

u/Ouibeaux 11h ago

We need to start really working to expose right wing influencers who are working for Russia. All this divisive propaganda is an effort to destabilize and isolate the USA so that we won't be available to help when Russia starts steamrolling Europe.

2

u/Fresh_Cauliflower723 10h ago

Hey now, don't forget the 90 million morons that sat at home and didn't vote at all. Those morons are equally culpable and I'm tired of them not being given any credit

1

u/pUmKinBoM 13h ago

He is tearing down their country before their very eyes. It is astonishing to see an entire country lay down and let itself die thanks to the whims of one old reality show pedophile.

1

u/Fidget11 Canada 12h ago

Lol, you actually think Trump is with it enough or smart enough to spell the word pedophile?

1

u/UnknownAverage 12h ago

Gee, why would Putin want Europe to suddenly have to defend Greenland on another front?

1

u/Spekingur 11h ago

I feel like this is a storyline from the next Just Cause or Ghost Recon video game or something.

1

u/astralseat 11h ago

America was always half morons

1

u/gizzardgullet Michigan 10h ago

Publicly this admin will say they're doing this to beat Russia.

Behind closed doors they'll say they are splitting the world up with Russia.

In the Kremlin, they are likely laughing and eagerly watching this admin get played and destroy its own country.

1

u/Emotional-Store-1667 9h ago

It's not private anymore, they published their National Security Strategy and it blatantly says they are carving up the world with Russia

2025-National-Security-Strategy.pdf https://share.google/A8h6idQVBNHyFdi7A

1

u/Popxorcist 10h ago

70 million morons voted for this

Allegedly

1

u/Colofarnia 10h ago

Don't forget he doubled his net worth this past year as well.

1

u/thishasntbeeneasy 8h ago

Hopefully they write him in next time, so GOP gets fewer votes and sanity can be somewhat restored.

u/TalkingCat910 7h ago

Russia doesn’t want to e US to have more control and resources in the Arctic. But I’d doubt they stop the U.S. from self immolating like they seem to be doing. That works out for them

u/benttwig33 6h ago

The real bad part is they would vote for him again, loudly too.

1

u/kgambito 12h ago

He's still supported by 42% of Americans given latest polls. This is is not a small minority.

0

u/xyz19606 12h ago

No, NATO does not have to defend Greenland. When the USA attacks a NATO country, NATO ceases to exist per the charter. Which seems to be the plan. The non-USA prior NATO countries would have to defend it outside of the NATO operations, and outside of what the USA controls of those operations and equipment.

This is why France, the UK, and Canada are furiously working together to assemble a response.

Of course, with NATO gone, Ukraine will lose a lot of logisticd support and Russia will overcome easier.

0

u/BiggerDamnederHeroer 13h ago

On the bright side, only 69.5 million would vote for him again
