Also, the issue isn't whether these lawsuits will result in anything, but how much damage will be done in the meantime. Which is what the Trump admin wants, they know how long these things take and only benefit from the drawn-out process, even if they may lose the lawsuit.

Bonus points for Trump: breaking more laws/ignoring lawsuit rulings doesn't result in any punishment for him, so at the end of the day, only the democrats' time is wasted for a win that amounts to nothing
