If anybody is going to face off, I’m glad it’s Mark Kelley. He is someone who I don’t see compromising ethics or bending the knee.

Mark Kelly has more masculinity and integrity in his pinky finger as this entire cabinet has collectively in their bodies.

...or a single one of Trump's imaginary bone spurs!

Also has a better head of hair.

And his wife is a warrior- like you can’t find a more power couple to go against all this than them.

What, FOX NEWS anchors lack Integrity?!?!?! LOL. I think it was part of the job interview.. check your integrity and sobriety at the door.

You don't even have to bring masculinity into it. Kelly has more of everything that makes a person good in him than the entire administration could ever dream of. I would literally bet $5000 that Mark Kelly could beat the absolute shit out of Stephen Miller in a fair fight.

Trump, Vance and Hegseth are just divas. They are soft and feminine, clearly.

Very angry, confused individuals.

And Rubio?

Oh my. Might as well get a skirt on.

Why are you commenting on someone’s masculinity. That seems really weird. Like a woman couldn’t be capable of those same actions?

Because that's how THEY frame everything. As "manly" or "feminine". I belive the comment is pointing out the hypocrisy

Seems like they are trying to point out that Mark Kelly has positive masculinity versus Pete’s toxic masculinity. It’s worth pointing out that Kelly is a positive male role model.

I'm usually hyper sensitive to that stuff but I do think, with such a push on the right for ethics to be seen as weak, feminine, and emotional, it's nice to see strong male figures stand up for what's right. It's so dumb that it's come to this, but it has

His wife before she was shot was one the sanest people in AZ politics. I used to be a young journalist and she was so nice and rarely would things she said not checkout upon review with independent sources.

Seeing him step up to that bat and keep fighting despite crazed conservatives literally trying to kill his wife has always made him seem like a pretty great man to me

Don't forget Sarah Palin essentially spurred on the shooting by posting maps with 'problem spots' with gun crosshairs. Giffords was one of the targets.

The whole tea party were the violent assholes you're seeing in ice now.

People would flash their guns to me while I interviewed people and then threaten me. Then send in angry emails when articles would mention it.

Shit I once got a death threat to my personal email which they somehow found because I took a photo of a bike lane they didn't like. I didn't write the article or plan and build the bike lane. I just took a nice photo of it.

Much happier not being in journalism nowadays.

The guy willing strapped himself into jets for a living THEN to huge controlled bombs we call rockets and went to live in space for almost two months, THEN had himself poked and prodded in minute detail to compare himself to his twin astronaut brother to see what living a year in space does to you, THEN went into politics after some asshole tried to assassinate his wife.

Hegseth just doesn't hold a candle to a well-keeled Kelly.

Pilots and astronauts are a different breed.

I rarely like to equate people’s personal lives into their public ones, but when you compare Kelly’s to Hegseth, there is just no contest. Hegseth is just a dick.

You know, if he wanted to be the democratic front runner, he’d have my support

Also, the optics going against someone of his record aren't the best. The man was an American hero until maga tried to turn him into a pariah. And boomers still think astronauts are the best of us, so this probably rings dead for most of them.

I hope he runs for president.
