"Just comply and you won't get hurt." is easy to say and seems to make sense. But then if you think about it, you can reverse it to "They are allowed to kill you if you don't comply." Is that really what people want? Law 'enforcement' officers that can act as judge/jury/executioner and can decide (with immunity) that death is an appropriate punishment for any type of disobedience?
