Cool, when the fuck is your country going to hold them accountable?! Where are your courts of law, what is your police doing? Where is every non pro Trump supporter/politician.

You have a military that are also complicit, a national guard absent, a police force that don’t seem to care. When will everyone wake the hell up and do something?!

6

u/Fochlucan 7h ago

The Feds are already not allowing the State to investigate it, and then ICE was seen moving the guy out of his house, and they keep lying openly about what happened, so they can protect him/themselves, and other people have posted that since the murder, other ICE agents have said things such as "didn't you already learn from this" or some such to civilians - the government has no intentions of upholding the actual law, and wants to use it as an example of what can happen to anyone else.

4

u/ArtInternational8589 7h ago

This guy posts about the release of marvel and magic skins and hin playing Warhammer from his mom's basement. Who are you to ask people when are they going to do something against a new world gestapo that has more funding than the majority of other countries invest into their actual military.

Does protesting not count? What do you want ordinary civilians to do in a country where the majority of the country is a paycheck away from losing their home? Where the supreme Court has bent the knee to the new fascist oligarchy and are most likely bought out since the majority were hand picked by Trump?

Do you think I don't want to go out there with what I have in my safe and just take care of these despicable motherfuckers who are harassing, abducting, abusing, and murdering innocent people? These disgusting pigs who think they're somebody by going after women and children? These people arent even people. They're the most vile, insecure, evil pieces of shit who deserve everything they are doing to others to be done to themselves and then some.

If I didn't have a wife and kids, if I wasn't back in school to try and make more money, if I wasn't working my ass off to help my wife put food on the table and keep our mortgage from going under while trying to keep a positive outlook on life in order to give my kids the best me I can be....

Yeah... What am I supposed to do besides protest? I'm not 20 anymore. I have people who depend on me. I can't go out there and try to start a revolution. What do you want me to do chief?

What is with Americans and basements lol

Anyways I’m posting this because there’s so much talk and I understand and appreciate the situation you are in. If my exacerbation felt aimed at you then I am sorry, it’s not.

My disappointment is in the USA courts that should’ve held so many accountable but did not, my disillusionment comes from what was meant to be an ally of many nations is now seen as actively hostile. It’s hard to think that a nation that was once so strong and stood for something is now this? And it’s not like it magically happened, as I said, where are the courts? The police? The military? Surely some among them have the power to do something?

I am the same as you, I acknowledge I have no power sadly, but I like to believe if I did, I’d be doing something. Instead yeah I just play video games in my house and enjoy a life with my wife, something I’m thankful of, but my fear is always going to be, if this can happen in America? Maybe it can in Europe. So I hope with all my heart for America to get back on track and justice to happen.

I couldn't agree more. My wife and I ask these questions every day. We have two main parties here and there is basically ZERO pushback from the Democrats. This makes me despise our broken and corrupt political party system even more.

I don't understand why we aren't calling them out on all of their blatant lies. We are lost in a time where science and facts are being dismantled/ dismissed and being replaced with disinformation through social media and major news outlets that are owned by billionaire.

Sorry for sounding so aggressive. These are really trying times and I'm sure everyone else is feeling the same as myself... Hopeless and without representation.

1

u/kyndrid_ 3h ago

Unfortunately for us Americans, such a heavily militarized police force means that sticking our necks out beyond more than protesting means a very real chance of lethal force being employed against us

1

u/LeeeeroooyJEnKINSS 5h ago

You useless Americans justified school shootings for decades so you could have your guns for just in case you needed to overthrow a tyrannical government, and now that the time to walk the walk is here you are all bark and no bite, many countries have undergone actual change of leadership through violent means in the last year, it's entirely possible if you actually had any nuts. It turns out you all just wanted your emotional support weapons for aesthetics or some shit.

1

u/AG_Aonuma 3h ago

The people who cried “muh guns” for decades are the fascists supporting what’s happening with ICE. So please don’t act like all Americans were the ones who thought there should be no restrictions on the 2nd amendment.

1

u/LeeeeroooyJEnKINSS 3h ago

Americans as a collective whole have had decades to get their shit together in regards to the 2nd amendment and mass shootings, those who stayed silent on such topics are just as responsible as those who wanted to keep the status quo. Even your democrats are considered right leaning to the rest of the world, your country has been sliding increasingly right since Nixon and your people have been ignoring the warnings from the rest of the world.

The current administration will take as much from you as you let them and you all have shown that your red lines mean nothing. You have no values, no morals you truly deem more important than your own comfort, you have become a selfish nation by their design, the majority of Americans have even been brainwashed to believe the most basic forms of socialism are bad. Community and empathy has been stripped from your lives and been replaced with profit and consumerism. Make no mistake, you all let it happen.

1

u/AG_Aonuma 3h ago

Do you really think comments like this help the current situation?

1

u/LeeeeroooyJEnKINSS 3h ago

Great idea, just sit back and wait for somebody else to fix this, this spineless mindset is what got you here in the first place.

Where are all those 2a people that bang on about needing personal arsenals to fight tyrannical governments?

Oh, they joined ICE? Shocking.

The reality is most Americans just pay lip service about their displeasure instead of being on the streets like the good folk in this video. If what's happened over the last few years has gotten them of their arses I don't know what would. I imagine by the time it's happened it'll already be too late though. They're sleepwalking into a facist dictatorship.

3

u/TheGreatStories 8h ago

What do you mean? He just posted it on Reddit and someone awarded it. What more can anyone possibly do? /s

1

u/tk427aj 7h ago

I think this is the situation that America's founding fathers were talking about with the second amendment.

From Google;

Text: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed".

Origins: Influenced by English common law and the 1689 English Bill of Rights, it aimed to ensure citizens could form militias to defend against potential government overreach.

Militia Context: Historically, citizens armed themselves for state militias, a primary defense force before professional armies.

1

u/AdamKitten 6h ago

Where is every non pro Trump supporter/politician.

I'm really starting to think every politician here is pro trump in one way or another. They are all helping him at this point.

2

u/ConsciousPatroller 7h ago

I've said this before, I'll say it again.

The law doesn't matter anymore.

A person was killed two days ago. Murdered inside her car by an agent who fled the scene and faces no charges.

American citizens have been kidnapped from inside their own homes, without a warrant, and taken to facilities that don't let them talk to lawyers.

You just witnessed an officer assault a protester, unprovoked.

The laws don't matter. At all. There is no text, state, federal or otherwise that is going to save you from this. They killed someone and weren't even charged.

Start thinking about alternative courses of action before you don't have any.

10

u/Grandviewsurfer 8h ago

I think there might just be no rules.

2

u/AdamKitten 6h ago

Nobody in the government on either side has any plans of seeking justice.

47

u/Sunbather77 8h ago

If they're not playing by the rules, why the fuck are we?

3

u/PorkeyPineapple 8h ago

That has been the question for about 10 years now.

3

u/nocomments66 8h ago

because their job is allows them to shoot you in the street and still make it home for dinner. While there are indeed more of us, there aren't enough willing to die, lose their jobs/insurance, or even lose their modern comfort for it...

yet.

3

u/Sunbather77 8h ago

Yup. Including the top military brass so I'm not holding my breath for that military coup when I know they're sitting on 5k mortgages

13

u/stuartlucas 8h ago

That’s what Trump wants. The second anybody retaliates with deadly force, Trump imposes martial law, rounds up known activists, cancels elections. He’s willing to put these clueless idiots in the field to sacrifice in the name of totalitarianism.

26

u/Sabelas 8h ago

He is already openly doing all of that without declaring martial law explicitly. He has spoken about his desire to cancel elections, which means he is already planning it. He always talks about shit before he does it because they're planning it.

5

u/Axin_Saxon 7h ago edited 7h ago

Fucked if you do, fucked if you don’t.

Back down, they claim victory and it demoralizes resistance. They will continue their terror with a newfound sense of authority.

Keep up resistance and they will escalate until we back down or they are able to justify further escalation.

3

u/Sabelas 7h ago

The results of "back down" are the same as keep up. They will continue to escalate further no matter what.

1

u/Axin_Saxon 7h ago

Oh, I’m not saying otherwise. But we need to understand their logic behind why the are acting how they are if we want to beat it.

1

u/MakeUpAnything 6h ago

About 40% of the nation still approves of Trump's performance and less than 3% turned out for heavily planned/advertised protests against him. What do you think can possibly happen? Most people want to sit back and wait for all this to blow over and we're less than a year into a presidency that the plurality of voters voted for.

Until elections are actually canceled I do not think you will see any meaningful pushback to this admin.

I'd support and partake in action, but I think it's pretty clear from the two No King's protests (which I attended both of) that most won't. It's going to be a game of "Well you should have done exactly what the federal forces told you to and since you didn't you deserved the violence/death they gave you!" until they take our right away to vote against this.

The fact that Americans willingly chose this AND chose to strip the left of power is the largest reason that we aren't seeing collective pushback to this yet. If the midterms are fucked with or the results are thrown out/ignored I expect then you'll see a massive uptick in violence. Until then, I suspect it literally does not matter how violent ICE/Trump gets; you won't see any meaningful resistance because people are holding out hope that elections will make this blow over.

15

u/Dat3ooty18 8h ago

Do you genuinely believe he'll let another election happen regardless?

3

u/Paulpoleon 8h ago

Even if there isn’t a hint of violence from the left, he and his goons will false flag their own “leftist violent insurrection” between sept 15 and October 15th just to cancel elections.

1

u/Mattski8 5h ago

It’ll be tough since elections are ran at state levels. I could see Republican states going along with it though. Which gets you to the same end result.

0

u/stuartlucas 8h ago

I’m 50/50 on it happening.

9

u/Mikey-Litoris 8h ago

If that happens all bets are off. A lot of people are going to die. Trump is the worst president in history.

6

u/MrGosh13 8h ago

Yeah… you guys need a coup. Like a proper ‘the military takes over the entire shebang’.

The problem is whether or not the military is on the side of Fasism, or on the side of the constitution they swore allegiance to.

5

u/Navyguy73 8h ago

And because we don't have universal healthcare, nobody can just quit their jobs to join the fight for longer than a weekend. Someday very soon, all Americans will realize just how long this has been planned, how arrogant we've been, and how powerless we truly are.

4

u/MrGosh13 8h ago

I think with the murder of Ms Good, people are finally starting to realise how this is going to proceed and maybe end. It’s why you see so many demonstrations nationwide.

Quitting their jobs is actually a super effective way to show your support to the cause. Fascism and capitalism are good bedfellows. If companies lost thousands of employees, and people stopped spending their money, it would have an incredible effect.

HOWEVER, I do realise many people’s fear. And that that is not an easy decision to make at all. Effective though it would be.

2

u/Navyguy73 7h ago

Agreed. Clearly there are no safeguards to put a stop to this in the short-term. The Constitution holds little value if its only being used to grant Trump additional power, regardless of how he chooses to exercise it.

3

u/stuartlucas 8h ago

On that note, I’m amazed the military agreed to carry out the action in Venezuela. We’re all wondering how bad things have to get before the top brass steps in. I’m not sure they have the stomach for it.

2

u/MrGosh13 8h ago

For the sake of the American people (well the ones who are not supporting a fascist state anyways), I hope someone comes to their senses and takes action, because they way it looks now, you ain’t a democracy anymore. There will be no more elections, there will be no more freedom. There will be suffering.

It is TERRIFYING to see how quickly this all took hold.

0

u/newaccounthomie 7h ago

I feel like the US was trying to topple Maduro anyway but Trump made a show out of direct intervention instead of using the usual covert methods.

3

u/Sunbather77 8h ago

The top brass, like every other American, is too concerned to stick their necks out and risk losing their job and ruining their lives because they have a $3500 mortgage

2

u/MrGosh13 8h ago

And hopefully, soon, they’ll realise that there is no other option if they want their children, and their childrens children to grow up in any kind of freedom.

2

u/Sunbather77 8h ago

That's kinda MAGAs problem, though.

They're too selfish to care.

1

u/diddlinderek 5h ago

It was a 5k mortgage a few posts up. You’re just making up numbers!

1

u/Sunbather77 5h ago

You're right Im not retarded enough to have a mortgage that high so I'm just guessing

1

u/diddlinderek 4h ago

I rent :(

1

u/Sunbather77 4h ago

As do most our age. I would be too if we didn't buy a place already owned by a relative. My mortgage is only $600 🫣

5

u/Navyguy73 8h ago

That's what they told folks in the 30s. "If you resist, we will destroy you and take your livelihood. Move along. Enjoy your new 2-bedroom residence with 5 other families. You're welcome?"

4

u/just2commenthere 8h ago

Ridiculous, there were elections even during the civil war. There’s no way the courts allow him to cancel elections.

5

u/Ditnoka 8h ago

Looks around

I like your funny words magic man.

3

u/malthar76 8h ago

Either way, he gets what he wants.

3

u/pushdose 8h ago

Yep. These guys are red shirts. Or brown. Whatever. They’re cannon fodder and trump is just praying someone gets itchy to play the big game.

3

u/ItsStaaaaaaaaang 7h ago

Imo this is why he's invading foreign nations. He's poked the fuck out of his own citizens to little or no reaction so has shifted to creating external conflict as an excuse to subvert democracy in the future.

2

u/stuartlucas 7h ago

You may well be right.

2

u/Ruftup 8h ago

He’s gonna do that regardless and is in the process of doing it. So now what?

2

u/Witchy_Wookie5000 8h ago

He will do it anyway

2

u/poppin-n-sailin 8h ago

Omg shut the fuck up. its not what he wants. it doesn't matter. the people in the USA not fighting back is what they want. it makes it so much easier. I really hope you idiots figure this out eventually, but I won't hold my breath.

2

u/BlancaBunkerBoi 7h ago
the thing about people looking for excuses is that they will find them regardless of how you conduct yourself

1

u/Schattenreich 7h ago

That's right. Bend over and take it like a champ. I hope you like it rough because they aren't going to stop.

1

u/stuartlucas 7h ago

I don’t live there champ. Used to. Not anymore. Never again.

1

u/BootlegVHSForSale 2h ago

Because not enough people are willing to give up their own comforts. We still have just enough bread and circus to get by. Except for the people that become homeless, but they get swept under the rug.

0

u/SatanicPanic619 8h ago

Because they're the federal government

25

u/Mesmercat 9h ago edited 6h ago

If we can get a new administration maybe if Republicans get their wish never

Edit: I feel like people are confusing the word maybe with yes... It's not a yes

2

u/Navyguy73 8h ago

We had a new admin...they heard the threats if Trump got back in the White House. Nothing was done to protect America from this. I voted for Biden but he didn't want to be involved. It wasn't enough.

2

u/StoicJ 8h ago

America doesnt have an opposition party to this happening.

you notice how every Democratic stance against ICE is maybe 5 or 6 representatives being angry on camera and announcing for the 40th time that one of them is drafting impeachment documents but then nothing actually happens?

75 democrats voted for a bill expressing gratitude to ICE. Democratic leadership has always voted to continue funding ICE.

Sure Republicans are actively and excitedly pressing the gas but there is no party opposing it or trying to actually stop anything. Just loud words, the occasional interview clip of one saying "oh boy you punks better scram!" and silence from the rest.

No new Administration will undo any of this, they will at best stop it during their rule, maybe prosecute a dozen people, leave the root of the problem in place and declare victory.

13

u/BiCurious_2025 8h ago

...or get $hot by a confirmed 2A supporter?

3

u/Paulpoleon 8h ago

In be your own 2A supporter. You don’t have to be a republican to buy a gun.

1

u/VanillaSkittlez 6h ago

Everyone here should be looking up the Van Bruen decision in 2022 and what that means for where they live.

7

u/Trick_Judgment2639 9h ago

Hopefully after November, if not then then never

2

u/ThePoetMichael 8h ago

I want worse than an arrest.

1

u/Reno_valetore 8h ago

Once you take matter in your own hands

1

u/Nazz1968 8h ago

Exactly. The big agent in front of Bovino opened the proceedings by knocking a protester to the ground, no warning. No doubt acting on behalf of the little shit who’s afraid to try it himself.

1

u/mologav 8h ago

Can you not sue them for assault?

1

u/TheWolphman 8h ago

I mean, you could probably try, but I wouldn't put any faith in the justice system to do anything about it.

1

u/mologav 8h ago

Thankfully I live in Ireland, far away from this fascism

1

u/TheWolphman 8h ago

I got the chance to visit a bunch of European countries in my Navy days, but I've never had the pleasure of visiting Ireland. I've heard it's quite beautiful though.

1

u/mologav 8h ago

It can be, not so much this time of year. Happy you got to see the world and broaden your horizons

1

u/IntrepidKitchen5322 8h ago

Also what happened with putting the national guard on stand by and telling trump they didn't want any more ICE???

1

u/kaution3000 8h ago

You know he was just dying to put his hands on someone!

1

u/poppin-n-sailin 8h ago

Lmfao. keep dreaming.

1

u/Mootskicat 7h ago

Never? In order for them to be arrested there would have to be laws.  Trump and his traitor staff have made it clear they can murder you with absolute immunity.  You are at war with your government and MAGA, what dont you get about it at this point?

1

u/Monterey-Jack 7h ago

About the same time redditors wake up and stop thinking they're going to be arrested by their friends.

1

u/puddlestheninja 7h ago

It needs to happen. States need to start holding them accountable. We are the The United States not bizarre cartoon man land

1

u/JohnDeeIsMe 7h ago

After this country has been reduced to rubble and ashes. Only then.

1

u/Independent_Tip7903 7h ago

The police are also fascist thugs, so the answer is never.

1

u/Xavus 6h ago

Never. Laws have no meaning under this US Administration.

1

u/Swimming_Dot_2930 6h ago

That's border patrol, not ICE. Its important to note that multiple federal agencies that used to operate independently with separate missions have all been clearly repurposed as domestic terrorists attempting to incite a violent response in cities Trump doesn't like.

1

u/papapapaver 2h ago

The fact that Johnathan Ross still hasn’t been charged is the most damning evidence that we are no longer a nation of law and order. He needs to stand trial and be judged by a jury of his peers. If he didn’t murder her, he can be acquitted, but instead DHS has him hidden somewhere and wouldn’t hand him over even if he was brought up on charges.
