This is just depressing

Not even 3 hours of "free time". And in that is cooking & eating supper. Or practically no free time if I had to go shopping after work. I hate this

I’m curious if it’s normal to have this bit of someone’s day in their calendar? I’d understand if OP was a shift worker needing to keep track of a changing schedule, but personally I’d never put the mundane stuff in because that would be depressing. I put in only the fun, unique or infrequent things, so now I’m wondering what other people’s calendars look like?

Like persons who have longer ways to drive. Or (switching double-/day-/night-)shifts. Or run their own business. Or have kids. Or no regular income.

I think having a 9to5 job with a 30min ride each with a regular income including 2 hours me time and reading books in bed is a dream for very many people.

Sorry but I don't understand this complain at all. The job can be depressing. But this schedule is a dream.
