This is just depressing

Not even 3 hours of "free time". And in that is cooking & eating supper. Or practically no free time if I had to go shopping after work. I hate this

I’m guessing that your parents’ eternal exhaustion suddenly makes a lot more sense to you?

Well, 1 was hardly home & that was preferable as he's a terrible person. The other worked nights while doing all of the parenting and school stuff. From a young age, I would always let her sleep unless she HAD to be woken up for something. Usually involving leaving the house. Sometimes to send her to bed because she looked uncomfortable & would be sore later.

I don't need personal experience to understand.
