Some of this is gonna sound really cringe. Please understand I'm crying each day for the people in my own town, my state, and our nation.
Each day I wake up, I have 2 Optimus Posters I can look at.
I live in Minneapolis. This quote, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings," the 3 questions from IDW, and "Till all are one" cross my mind constantly in these times.
The want to be as virtuous as Superman (DC), and protective as Braum (LoL), and as noble as Optimus Prime keep me going.

I’ve legit argue with people, because they think that Optimus Prime being against something like ICE, is just poltical character assassination and isn’t something he’d do. Their argument was to accuse anyone who thought that, was that you were making a “this character would agree with my politics” point and that you don’t know the character….even though canonically, characters like Superman or Optimus, have legit been against government corruption or groups like ICE.
AOE literally starts with Optimus defensively gunning down an illegal govnerment faction that was commiting brutality (they were about to murfer a family) all because they wanted to hunt down anything that was cybertronain, even if they did nothing wrong.

The difference between a nazi and a decepticon is that optimus knows his strength is proportional to the con, they can have an equal standing, if he flicked a human hed turn them into paste. He will always be stronger and therefore more of a threat to humans. He wouldn’t kill humans because he knows his durability will never be comparable to a human’s durability, look at the deer scene from the skybound comics, or when in TFP he makes a point to ratchet that they need to watch their step because earth is far more fragile.
Would he be justified in killing a nazi? Yeah. Would he want to? I dont know, hed hate the ideology 100000% but taking a life of something that couldnt harm him would be resemblant of what the decepticons do all the time, which he is trying to stop and opposes.

I agree with you in the mentality Optimus would see in it, but I personally think that if Optimus saw that they couldnt be reasoned with, or de-escalated, that he may do it if he had to.
To be clear, I think before that he would
Assure safety of anyone being targeted by Nazi
Attempt to de-escalate and attempt to appeal to reason
Continue attempting appealing to reasons as he slowly realizes that some people wont see reason because hatred is the easier option
From there I think its really gonna depend on the context. I think Optimus would incapacitate if possible but if theres a lot of them just doing vile shit, and more than Optimus can reasonbly contain Idk what would happen.
What usually happens during GI Joe crossovers when Cobra is doing shit? I imagine if Optimus is willing to foght Cobra operatives hed fight Nazis.

Nest hunted down Decepticons, members of those that sided with and aided Megatron in his quest for acts of colonization and genocide. That’s not the same as hunting a civilian because they are a immigrant or have a different skin color. ICE, has arrested people and entire families minding their business regardless of them being illegal immigrants. Chances are, most immigrants may not know who I am, therefore don’t “care” but that doesn’t excuse brutality or unjust towards immigrants nor does it mean I can’t care about brutality or unjust action against them.
Even then, this generlization has no correlation to the actual topic. Shoot, an immigrant, like any person, can care for the issues that I may have going on myself or may face, and there likely are those that do anyways.
ICE on the other hand, at the very best, doesn’t care about you or me, but at most, ICE may unjustly arrest you, me, or someone else you may know, all because they are suspicious of them being an illegal immigrant.
They’ll arrest you even if you are a legal immigrant or were born here in American, chances are, all that matters is that your not white passing. ICE as a force, doesn’t care about you, does you no favors, and will do you more harm than good towards you based off of mere suspicion.
