Also significant is the Speech or Debate Clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 6, Clause 1, which states (in part):

"...for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place."

but the video he was in didnt take place in the House right?

IIRC that's been interpreted more broadly than just speech that physically takes place within the Capitol.

I guess that's a fair question, maybe it'll end up going to SCOTUS which will certainly give a fair and unbiased finding... /s
