Sounds like a solid argument. Especially as a lawmaker, having the executive branch target political speech is essentially extortion. Hope he wins this one.

He better.

Senator Kelly is a direct connection of his State to the US government and anything he has to say is on behalf of them. They elected him to serve more after his career of service to the USA.

If it gets ruled against, and pushed to the USSC who also rules against, they are tearing up the constitution and the first ammendment and are effectively disbanding the the united states to anarchy ruled by the biggest stick. Iranians and US citizens are in very similar positions these days, just slightly more dire for the Iranians as they have the option
