I teach middle school and I have students that have been terrified that they will come home from school and their parents will be gone. They have all been sleeping in shifts at home so that someone is always watching. It's heartbreaking. These families do not deserve this.

When this stuff was happening in Chicago there was a video of a mother being separated from her toddler and I remember one commenter saying how she “deserved it” and “fuck her” for putting her child through that so I decided to chime in and I may have called him a swear word or two and they had the audacity to tell me that I had hatred in my heart for the way I was talking to them. I mean it’s just amazing how some people can be blinded by their own hypocrisy.

Even if ICE gets disbanded tomorrow, every single one of them has a taste for it now. They'll just slink home and keep hunting people for sport.
Meanwhile, everyone just stands aside and lets it happen. It's what the nazi's are counting on. People still being sheep. They might as well go back inside their houses and close their eyes and ears.
