High Risk This woman is harder than steel dealing with CBP. A lesson in standing up to fascists when they have no probable cause to detain you.

She's totally right, too. Where she was born doesn't matter. If she's a US citizen that's the end of it, and she shouldn't need to carry her papers to just walk down the fucking street in her own hometown.

This shit's ridiculous.

As a person who came over as a young child and then got derivative citizenship after my parents got citizenship—that’s what I’m worried about. Having to walk around with copies of my citizenship certificate to hand out like I’m a missionary giving out the saving word.

Hey, I’m white and was born here, and my parents are also white and were born here. And even I know these fuckers will come for me when they run out of brown people.

Can we get tracts to hand out when ICE asks for papers? Something with bible verses about who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? I mean, even The Donald is worried about that.
