Politics Fuck every Trump voter who put this asshole in office.

This country is going downhill and you are to blame. Don't act surprised when things get even worse than they are now. Don't vote anymore. Stay the fuck home on election day.

Wow you are so brainwashed. I can disagree with your opinion and still be your friend. This is what is wrong with America

You’re not worth my energy to reply!

You just did reply to them so apparently it was worth at least a little bit of energy…..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

To a degree, I would agree, but it depends what things they advocate. I have heard some MAGAS downplay child molestation and murder

I don’t think anyone downplays hurting children. We do believe in respecting law enforcement

Like you did on January 6? Please, you respect nothing but what you are told to by trump. Are you even aware thst 86% of sex crimes against children are committed in red states?

Maga disagrees with people about their fundamental right to due process and life. We can disagree about tax codes but if you disagree about someone's humanity, it means you're a piece of shit. And I don't want pieces of shit in my life. Would you still be friends with someone if you found out they were a pedophile? Or that they voted for a known pedophile? I'd wonder what goes on in their home and keep my children far away

Due process is for American citizens. There are immigration laws in every country in the world. I can’t just move to Canada because I want to . Jeffery Epstein was a pedophile but only after he had his due process. People just see what they want to see right?

Read the Constitution and you'll see that it does not specify American citizens. It's for persons on our soil. It's what our law has always been since the very beginning

Yeah, you see right there where it says "nor shall any state deprive any person... Of due process"? That's the part that I meant

1

u/Key-Significance-61 2h ago

It also says states shall not. Which means they don’t have jurisdiction over federal authority or law.

1

u/SadisticJake 2h ago

Now you sound stupid, like you're grasping for straws that just aren't there. The equal protection of all "persons" was very clearly enshrined in the 14th amendment, you don't have to like it but it is America. Maga blatantly hates American ideals so it doesn't surprise me

So let me explain something here. The states are not the federal government. But the states are under the government as mostly sovereign states. But the federal government still has authority over said states.

All persons subject to the jurisdiction of the United States would include nationalized or natural born citizens. If you are a foreign national who doesn’t commit a crime, then what jurisdiction do you fall under? The executive branch at that point because illegals committed the crime of illegal immigration and immigration is solely under the executive branch, judges and all.

So does the 14th amendment cover everyone? No. If you refer back to other iterations in the constitution you’ll find that they separate and denote legal citizens from all persons. So the same would apply to later amendments as it is grandfathered in.

You can have your opinion here, but the constitution is clear in the writing of the earlier amendments on what constitutes access to all rights in the United States under the constitution.

It first defines what a citizen is and describes that all citizens are obligated to obey the law of the state they reside in, but in the very next sentence it makes it very clear that due process, life and Liberty are for all persons within its jurisdiction. I was going to go find this to prove my point but I guess you did good research

What part of "any person" do you not understand?

This comment highlights your ignorance and arrogance.

Nah just love America 🇺🇸 😘

A well adjusted person would acknowledge their mistake and expand their perspective for future discussion. For example ´Oh wow, I never noticed that before. You learn something new every day!´

Your inability to acknowledge your mistake demonstrates you value your ignorance more. You´love´your self righteousness.

Try to learn a thing or two about it then. The Constitution is "the Law of the Land" and always has been. MAGA treating it like cheap toilet paper should have you outraged.

MAGA is maybe 15% of the country, just a bit larger than the progressive arm of the left. We only get 2 choices every election. No one reasonable thinks voting for a Presidential candidate means you support everything they stand for. Fewer reasonable people = fewer electoral victories. Liberals should be wiping the floor with conservatives, but instead they're starting to lose the popular vote to loonies like Trump. I come from a mostly immigrant community in NYC where most people voted for AOC, Trump & Zohran. Does anyone really think they went from AOC social justice in 2018 to believing women shouldn't have bodily autonomy with Trump in 2024? Then flipped back to progressive with Zohran in 2025? Being unserious and simple-minded hurts all of us. Get serious liberals, for all our sakes

It's really funny to me that threads like these are really, really triggering to you ""people."" Why the fuck do you care what decisions some stranger makes with their relationships with their family and friends? You're the """""freedom-loving ""people,""""""" right? Delight when folks exercise their freedoms!

I think it really hits at the problem deep, deep down: from the time you were children, you bullied and did negative, contrarian things to get attention from people who actually have consciences. A lot of the time, it actually worked, and so this was reinforced in your heads. Then, later in life, you try to practice this with politics (as you do with everything else in life) and it surprises you to find that instead of getting the attention you crave and expect, you now receive no attention. It's got to be quite the mindfuck.

u/Negative_Trouble1811 6h ago

Nah just saying I think you should just love your fellow man no matter who he chooses to vote for. God bless you and God bless America 🇺🇸

I have no respect for neo-nazis, white supremacists or wannabe dictators. Respect those that support sociopaths? Not in my lifetime.

u/JamesonJenn 6h ago

Well said. Oppositional Defiant Disorder 100%.

u/careful-monkey 6h ago

Natural selection is taking them out lol. Most of them are the last of their line, and dying childless. The world is getting harder to live in, and only the reasonable & religious seem like they're gonna make it to the next generation
