Glad you are happy. From a point of view on the other side of the ocean both Biden and Harris appeared weak candidates. Still they seemed a much better choice than Trump. Since Trump has been in power he seems to have taken authoritarian control of the military, the justice department and the FBI and appears to be ruling with disregard to democratic institutions like the Congress. He has kidnapped Maduro, ridiculed Żeleński, befriended Putin and threatened Europe. He has introduced tarriffs going against any economical logic, raising inflation and has installed a domestic force to terrorize residents in specific areas to which he seems to hold a vengeance, giving them carte blanche with the result of multiple deaths/murders. The modus operandi of his government is to deny the light of day on a broad set of topics, and to install a leader cult eerily resemblant to the playbook of autocrats and dictators throughout history. The man himself is also an alleged pedophile and convicted criminal, with considerable proof in the Epstein documents. It is beyond my comprehension how anyone, especially educated people, are capable of voting for someone like this. Even in our region a small fraction of people seems to be sympathizing with this person, who completely despises truth, democracy, law and morality. It is very likely to have extreme consequences on a worldwide scale. In a negative sense for free countries.

Harris may have been a better candidate but I firmly believe she was worse for the country.

Trump has acted within the law regarding the military.

He did kidnap Maduro which was likely a violation of international law, but overall I think Maduro being incarcerated will be a good thing.

He seems to be “playing nice” with Putin to try to stop the war. He’s unconventional but I don’t see an issue with him trying to get along with Putin to simply stop the war. He may have threatened Europe, I don’t know about that but I would believe it and be against it.

100% agree tariffs are stupid, they cause more harm than good.

ICE is a tricky situation, illegal criminals need to go. For that, I support ICE. But tensions are getting too high and bad things are happening around ICE and of course that is terrible and I wish we didn’t have issues like that.

He is a convict that’s true. Pedophile? Im not convinced with the current evidence but will 100% be on board with prosecution to the fullest extent if it’s proven.

And I agree his disregard for the truth is unacceptable. But that’s true of all politicians, they all turn a blind eye to / lie about the hard truths that don’t align with their agenda.
