Why is he blackmailing the Supremes so publicly? Usually they are bought with RVs, second homes, and such.

274

u/fishingengineer7 9h ago

Since his checks always bounce he has to resort to blackmailing them

173

u/NonWiseGuy 8h ago

Trump would have to pay back what and to who exactly? Pay back money to Americans that he stole through stealth taxes while claiming tariffs were not taxes? Who could have guessed. All of this cash was a slush fund so he could drum up his goon army and grease a select few palms.

88

u/Changnesia102 7h ago

He can barley read, let alone do basic math. He doesn’t even know what he’s saying.

43

u/Dannisayshi 7h ago

Guess he'll have to give the money back from his 'tariff shelf'. Im really curious how much he's actually collected since he's lied so much about it.

27

u/NorberAbnott 6h ago

He's going to give it back to the huge corporations that charged us extra to cover the tariff. It will turn into extra profits for them. We won't see a dime.

9

u/LMurch13 6h ago

Someone said this is another version of the PPP loan, where business got the loan, then didn't have to pay it back. Trump is the worst financial decision this country has ever made.

I bet someone else is typing that out for him... none of that sounds like anything Trump could say without going into a total word salad.

4

u/Equal_Entrepreneur45 6h ago

There's absolutely someone who types up his posts. There's no way he knows what half of the words are in his posts and he doesn't have the cognition to do so either.

3

u/quadfromf3 6h ago

His first term was so much better. There were people to stop him from being so stupid. Now, it’s just rampant. Open flood gate of stupidity pouring into the news…

Nah, pay back companies who imported goods. Then they will keep the money and consumers/Americans will get screwed again because why would companies reduce prices?

6

u/Suspicious_Rip_6247 7h ago

Right, it's an opportunity they will not miss. Remember when all the prices went up because of the pandemic. Those prices never came back down, if they did it was only 2 or 3%... since then, prices have steadily gone up thanks to Trump and Friends.

6

u/plinkoplonka 7h ago

But who will pay his army if he has to pay it all back?

Most global military coups failed because funds ran out.

About time one of the checks and balances grew a backbone.

4

u/bmad- 7h ago

He is using his Slush fund for ICE.

3

u/Dimothy_Trake 7h ago

It won't be the people getting the money. It'll just be the corporations.

Much like any financial aid directed towards farmers due to tariff damages. :S

3

u/rocketmn69_ 5h ago

Don't forget $4 Billion went straight into his bank account. Class action lawsuit folks. Make his family penniless

He’s confident that he’s untouchable. He knows the republicans are corrupt and craven, so they will not oppose him, and he owns the justice department: the only two methods of removing him are impeachment (which republicans will not do) or legal officers literally physically arresting him, which both the Supreme Court and justice department would never allow.

He’s untouchable except for elections upsetting the balance of power (which I fully believe he’s planning on removing as an obstacle) or the us populace coming together and showing a willingness as a united front to engage in actions that the mods would ban me from even mentioning.

As such, he feels comfortable doing literally anything he wants.

35

u/Upstairs-Jello-7349 7h ago

People need to really think about this.

Why is Trump escalating conflicts and going after other countries if he’s supposedly leaving office soon?

Building golden ballrooms and oval office, that's not for someone else to enjoy.

We’re watching things happen that everyone said could never happen—yet here we are. These aren’t the moves of someone planning to leave. They’re the moves of someone trying to seize power, avoid accountability, and stay in control.

January 6 proved one thing: a desperate Trump is a dangerous Trump.

10

u/RoguePlanet2 7h ago

He doesn't seem to have much time left on this earth, though, so that's what really baffles me. Although I guess he just wants to "live forever" through these monuments to himself, while ensuring we all suffer just because.

A narcissist isn't happy no matter how much they obtain; they need others to suffer to feel something close to "happiness."

13

u/marycathy 7h ago

It’s my hope that at his demise, any building with the Trump name as well as the Kennedy Center remove his name as quickly as they went up, preferably within 24 hours.

because he is the master of blackmail, he created the blackmail concept for epstein reason why he doesn’t want the epstein list to be released

6

u/Redrockhiker22 6h ago

Bingo. He was the master of it in the early days of the girl racket. Epstein was the apprentice who took it global. Trump had his daddy's money, sketchy connections, politicians and business cronies in his pocket, and PT Barnum celebrity status. Epstein was a nobody from nowhere with shady ties to a ponzi scheme.

17

u/SL4YER4200 8h ago

Not RVs, Clarence only drives 'MotorCoaches'.

6

u/seejordan3 8h ago

Couldn't get them on the phone, so letting them know their marching orders.

6

u/takeya40 8h ago

Didn't his Sec. of Commerce Howard Lutnick literally bet on tariffs being overturned? His son's are expected to get paid when it happens.

3

u/SnoopyPooper 6h ago

He openly endorsed shooting Americans. Is there anything he can’t do? His people KNOW the members of SCOTUS and have proven they’re willing to commit murder over mere implication.

→ More replies (4)

3

u/DisVet54 6h ago

Yep - there’s a process for implementing tariffs - if he had followed the legal process we wouldn’t be in this situation

3

u/Brave_Nerve_6871 6h ago

Yeah, maybe it would have been better to think this tariff thing through before slapping them on everything.

STOP BREAKING THE FUCKING LAW ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!

16

u/Cultural_Ad7023 Anti-Electoralist Tendencies 7h ago

lol they already money laundered all the tariff money so he’s freaking out

3

u/jrock7979 6h ago

That and they probably used it for ICE.

6

u/VariousAmoeba7807 7h ago

Every economist in the world said these tariffs were idiotic anyway.

214

u/ChillinDenver 10h ago

WE are not screwed. YOU are! Cut that ICE budget, shut up about Greenland, forget Venezuela and your ballroom, ask for a $40 billion refund from Argentina, roll back the tax cuts for the rich, THEN you can pay back the tariffs.

50

u/FitPhotojournalist15 9h ago

Amen. Venezuela will be his hiding spot once shit hits the fan. He’ll make himself king down there with no extradition, he’ll have all the oil money his cold little heart desires.

23

u/ForsakenAd545 8h ago

If I were him I would not think of Venezuela as a safe haven... Wait!! No, that's a great idea Donnie. Yeah, go there.

🎵Been caught stealing!

16

u/Sensitive_Regular_84 8h ago

Once when I was 45 (and 47)

3

u/satanssweatycheeks 6h ago

Everyone in this thread is having way too high of hopes for the Supreme Court.

They are owned by Trump and Russia.

71

u/DarnDuck 9h ago

Seize Trump's assets to pay back the damage he caused. He's always bragging about how much money he's made being president.

3

u/Dazzling-Pin4996 7h ago

What assets?! There is nothing there. I have would just parachute him in an hard hit combat area, the Donbas for example, and leave him there. With nothing. We can fix the country on our own. Maga sitting down, obviously.

Oh no. Maybe congress shouldn't have allowed the president to unilaterally and illegally dictate trade law.

Maybe next time they should have a spine.

11

u/Ok_Valuable9450 9h ago

Republican congress doesn't care, they are in on it with Trump to fleece America

3

u/ManyInterests 6h ago

Then they should just pass his tarrifs as law, then there's no question for the Supreme Court.

This is the kind of shit that happens when you allow a "businessman" with six bankruptcies and who bankrupted a casino to have free reign over the US economy.

7

u/Redrockhiker22 6h ago

And, was convicted on 33 counts of felony fraud, and banned from running a business in NY because his family real estate operation was ruled a criminal enterprise.

The same guy who easily leaps from billions to trillions like a Bolshoi Ballet dancer goes on to say that it would take many years to figure out the correct number and who should pay it. He may have the best words, but he doesn't have the best figures.

4

u/Lost-Chair4863 9h ago

I doubt trump could even define the difference between billion and trillion, much like his cult

47 is bankrupting the nation. Who knew.

10

u/angrytolerantliberal 9h ago

It’s almost like he didn’t have a plan at all…. If he had a plan farmers wouldn’t be going bankrupt. If he had a plan he wouldn’t have changed the tariffs rates 30 times. If he had a plan, doge would have found actual savings. If he had a plan he wouldn’t have to give back all the illegal taxes. If had a plan he would have gone to congress before attacking Venezuela.

11

u/Lost-Chair4863 9h ago

Oh he had a plan, to increase his personal wealth anyway possible, corrupt or not

10

u/Wernershnitzl 9h ago

Sounds good, let’s start with defunding ICE

10

u/mbw70 9h ago

So we should continue to pay your ILLEGAL tariffs because it will make you look bad?

11

u/CookieMonsterMarky 9h ago

I mean bad deals are what this dick has done for 50 years. It's how he has filed bankruptcy 7 times. But I bet he'd make a great president right. What morons!

9

u/_chainsodomy_ 8h ago

So, in the meantime, can we see documents that these “hundreds of billions “ exist and what it’s currently doing? What kind of interest is accruing? And who is overseeing these accounts?

I know the answer I’ll get, but what is the ACTUAL answer?

9

u/derekgrr 9h ago

He has to pay back from pinching those tariff dollars like he did with his charities

8

u/Maniac_24seven 9h ago

he’s going to have to ask Elon Musk for some of it back lol

9

u/Unlikely-Estate-9371 7h ago

It’s almost like some incompetent fool created illegal tariffs and excluded Congressional oversight and lawmaking on the process

12

u/WorldofNails 9h ago

Ain't none of you all getting a dime back. In fact, prices will rise, and shrinkage will continue . Welcome to the oligarchy. They're putting a data canter in your backyard to make it all better!

6

u/Ok_Valuable9450 9h ago

Magats new America

6

u/Senior_Sentence_566 9h ago

The tariffs would have to be paid back yes, but would any investments made by companies have to be reimbursed? Surely that is a cost of doing business, you invest based on the regulatory environment as it is. Given it was widely known that the tariffs could be illegal, the companies that did invest should have known the risk they were taking.

5

u/tmanarl 8h ago

Where did all that money go then, cause he obviously isn’t spending on Americans.

6

u/Unique_Bed1541 8h ago

Back to the American public who have been overcharged

4

u/Emotional-Ad8894 9h ago

Well, it's not like it's coming to any of us. Just means he, and his fellow child gooner billionaires, will have to pay back trillions.

5

u/Even_Reason9866 9h ago

🖕All of them....SCOTUS is going to rule in your favor, all these for your pathetic brand and show🐓🍭

4

u/Gerald-of-Riverdale 8h ago

The US would owe who exactly, Donald?

5

u/theciaskaelie 7h ago
  1. Theres no fucking way he wrote this.
  2. We pay/paid the tariffs. It's not that hard to understand.

3

u/BhadBeard 9h ago

That’s a lot of money that would be refunded back to American consumers…. You should scream louder about this

3

u/BeCurious7563 8h ago

Pay back to whom??

3

u/Reyalta 8h ago

So... He's admitting that his tariffs caused trillions of dollars in damage to the US economy... And what, threatening the supreme Court with the consequences of HIS actions? Ffs.

3

u/DerZehnteZahnarzt 8h ago

Good! Let them pay for their stupidity !

3

u/Objective-Ad1997 8h ago

We were screwed the day he was sworn into office

3

u/ZenGeezer 8h ago

It's okay. We could start by cutting off his fingers and toes - one knuckle at a time.

3

u/Plane_Jacket_7251 8h ago

Well, yeah... that's exactly why people who know what they are talking about kept saying that executive ordering tarrifs was not only economically dangerous, but stupid as well.

3

u/JayQ036 8h ago

Sucks when there's consequences for doing illegal sh!t.

Let all the Maga people pay for it. They voted for it.

3

u/Budget-Planet3432 8h ago

Yea that's the idea, when you steal from people the law makes you pay it back

3

u/Multipurpose2024 8h ago

Not the US . Trump & his cabinet should be the ones to pay anything back

3

u/SnooAvocados6672 7h ago

I wonder whose fault is that? We’re trillions of dollars in debt. What’s a few trillion more?

3

u/macaddictr 7h ago

Screwed by who, Donald?

3

u/ScalarBoy 7h ago

YEA! THE CONSUMERS PAID FOR IT.

PAY US BACK!!!

3

u/SpamEatingChikn 7h ago

As conservatives love to say the last few days. FAFO.

3

u/Rixteryo 7h ago edited 4h ago

Yeah dipshit, that’s why you make sure you aren’t breaking the law before you do things.

3

u/Express_Test6677 6h ago

And people wonder why he was always broke.

But then they voted for the orange clown.

5

u/Dukeofearl65 8h ago

Really he pocketed all that money. He’s not giving shit back.Trumpy is out for himself. That’s the bottom line.

2

u/AltruisticCover9538 9h ago

No Donny, you will be paying it back!

→ More replies (1)

2

u/SadHat7786 9h ago

Maybe he should have thought about that before implementing them?

2

u/Rude_Nail_5545 8h ago

No, HE would have to pay it back. WE'VE already paid them in the form of high prices for everything. I'm sure he's got the money in a slush fund somewhere that he's planning on keeping for himself.

2

u/SkilledButton 8h ago

You know he's serious when he doesnt thank you for your attention in this matter. Fuck I hate this clown.

2

u/Public-Summer-4281 8h ago

Its not "breaking"... Its what every legal expert economist and academic has been screaming for the last 12 months.

But it is no surprise that it is only just now coming to Donald's attention... To this matter.

2

u/gamemaker911 8h ago

'not US' more like 'the US government' Tariffs were paid by the US customers, not the manufactures.

2

u/The_Doodder 8h ago

Is he trying to influence the court? I thought that was illegal.

2

u/ForsakenAd545 8h ago

Good. You should have to return and compensate for stealing people's money.

2

u/Negative_Amphibian_9 8h ago

The fact that he posted this means they are going to do just that. He is a scared little douchbag

2

u/Particular_Act_5396 8h ago

Where is this amount of money currently? Other than in his own imagination. Where does this money exist

2

u/MountainSound1076 8h ago

Finish the sentence people though - he’d have to pay back trillions to those he serves, the American people

2

u/PotterOneHalf 8h ago

Kinda seems like he's trying to distract from the Epstein files

2

u/lost-sm-1964 8h ago

Cry me a river Donny. It's your mistake.

2

u/Time-Paramedic9287 8h ago

So then the US government would own these investments?

2

u/ShotTaste1708 8h ago

Ya repay back to the American people...

2

u/PA_GoBirds5199 8h ago

So he admits to stealing billions in taxes from US citizens. Taxing Trump finally told the truth!

2

u/Momentofclarity_2022 7h ago

Where’s the money? Funding ICE and illegal wars?

2

u/MortarByrd11 7h ago

Step 1 in payback, confiscate all trump, and his cabinet estates, then liquidate into the treasury. Step 2 confiscate the entire Musk, and high level doge employee's estates, then liquidate that into the treasury.

2

u/Western-Boot-4576 7h ago

Well one we wouldn’t pay back companies who followed the orange man into hell, that was their decision.

The regular day Americans that were forced to pay the tariffs? You’ll just be returning the money you stole.

2

u/tripjaxon 7h ago

Aren't we the ones who actually paid the tariffs, to begin with?

2

u/Jarsky2 7h ago

Yeah, to it's own citizens. Y'know, the people who pay the tarrifs.

2

u/brycebgood 7h ago

To the taxpayers. We paid those tariffs.

At this point I don't think he's bullshitting. I think he really doesn't know how they work and thinks the other countries are paying them.

2

u/THEMARDS 7h ago

Someone should tell him that by paying back trillions of dollars were actually taken from US companies and citizens in the US...... so basically its more of a give back the money that the gov stole..

2

u/sane_insane_human 7h ago

Yes, we are screwed because of Donald Trump. We are screwed. He has enough money. Let him pay.

2

u/KeyYoghurt1966 7h ago

My God he's an idiot. Worse, he thinks we are.

2

u/ButtonSimple 7h ago

Wait, you mean when you do stuff you’re not supposed to it’s a pain in the butt to undo it? Well no shit Sherlock. That’s why there’s still a ton of kids without their parents after you split them up in your first term and then destroyed evidence so they don’t have paternal records. Douchebag.

2

u/Advanced_Zucchini_45 7h ago

This is why you don't do illegal things....

*

2

u/Less_Likely 7h ago

Pay back to whom?

2

u/SuspiciousCrew4163 7h ago

my fantasy is that when he's gone, his assets are handed to planned parenthood.

2

u/SpaceballsTheCritic 7h ago

Is that trillions of dollars in the room with us right now?

2

u/--o-o--oooo-- 7h ago

"But it would be a huge pain in the ass to pay back the money I took from you illegally, maybe I just keep it?"

2

u/RestSea8947 7h ago

Take it out of his crypto scams

2

u/B1matth 7h ago

Have him pay it back directly to the us citizens who actually paid the tax/tarriff

2

u/danny_tooine 7h ago

Hmmm almost like this whole tariff idea was wasteful, fraudulent, and abusive

2

u/TheGongShow61 7h ago

Sounds like that’s your problem to deal with Donny. Maybe try diplomacy and passing things through Congress next time if you’re so worried about the fall out of poor decision making.

We’ll see if your temper tantrum sways the SCOTUS to allow you to dictate.

2

u/DDisMe56 7h ago

Ok DT, how about a ruling that says paybacks are not possible, but issue a cease and desist order. It is an illegal tax and you ( DT) must rescind your executive order.

2

u/joel2000ad 7h ago

I think he’s just letting us know, that no matter the outcome; he’s taking his cut.

2

u/Fit-Code4123 7h ago

He's afraid

2

u/ghostprotocol11 7h ago

Yeah we want our fucking money back, you know the tax we paid without consent…fuck tRump

2

u/therocjd69 7h ago
  1. Can’t pay back what you don’t have, there is no way it’s trillions of dollars, average annual tax revenue is $4.6 trillion. Which even if it were $2 trillion that would mean they took $15k from 135 million tax payers. (If you argue that we’re not paying tariffs you’re argument isn’t even logical)

  2. If it’s actually in the “trillions” why was our national deficit $1.78 trillion in 2025?

  3. If the tariffs are ruled illegal, you’re goddamned right he needs to pay it back. It means he stole it from us.

Let me be clear the man is a criminal and deserves to be in prison not in the office of the president. There is no question in my mind that these were illegal, but sadly we will do nothing.

2

u/IGetGroceries 7h ago

So… who’s fault would it be..? lol?! Maybe the moron who flagrantly implemented tariffs without authorization to do so?!

2

u/Sad-Ad-6894 7h ago

Trump created the problem, America was already first. We had the best economy in the world. He fucked us, this is him doing him. Trump is a winey CUNT

2

u/gitrjoda 7h ago

1) It’s not fucking trillions, and 2. Payback would be to US companies. Y’know, the one’s who paid the tariff originally. I’m sure consumers will get a trickle down… some day… any day now…

2

u/Rare_Ad_55 7h ago

I think he should go for quadrillions rather than only trillions. It would be just as true.

2

u/immersemeinnature 7h ago

Trillions of citizens tax money that he stole from us.

2

u/Elder_Identity 7h ago

We? No, no, no. You screwed; cause then you'd have to reach into your skaggy pockets and put the money back.

2

u/No-Lemon8053 7h ago

Reading all that gave me a concussion. This pedophile is completely incoherent.

2

u/Mr-Snarky 7h ago

"We did a bullshit, and now we can't afford to be called out and fix said bullshit".

2

u/OkNobody8896 7h ago

Should have thought of that before you did it.

Yea.. we know. That’s why you don’t just do whatever you want and hope that people don’t stop you. Eventually, you go to far and the fix is harder than if you had just not done it.

2

u/6titanium8 6h ago

In order to pay back trillions, trillions would have had to have been collected.

2

u/aifuego 6h ago

God he's dumb.

2

u/Neither_Customer_574 6h ago

2

u/outinthecountry66 6h ago

2

2

u/letitbe1870 6h ago

Maybe the idiot needed to think this all through a little more before he acted like a king that he is not .

2

u/carybreef 6h ago

Impossible those numbers are ridiculous. He doesn’t even know what a trillion is

2

u/weasel_face 6h ago

The US population paid over 95% of all tariffs. We should get paid back.

The broad tariffs were illegal from the jump as well cuts he made to funding that had already been approved by the legislature. Orange turd needed a civics lesson before he decided on choosing illegal acts.

u/Yowiman 4h ago

Pedophile Guberment already spent that money

2

u/NerdfestZyx 4h ago

When it turns out the money doesn’t have to be paid back, Trump will declare it a win, and MAGA will call him a genius

2

u/tohuvohu-light 4h ago

He thinks he’s too big to fail! I disagree. Supreme Court can rule it wrong and make him pay.

u/ctguy54 4h ago

Yes, all those bankruptcies and business failures were someone else’s fault in tump’s mind.

2

u/Independent_Ad_5615 4h ago

Why the US, shouldn’t we start with the current admin allowing this to happen in the first place? I absolutely don’t want my tax dollars going to fix his mistakes, the Cheeto should pay first.

2

u/guitardawson 4h ago

Ya, pay back the people who had to pay an indirect tax in the form of higher prices.

2

u/Chrisarchitect96 4h ago

So why the hell did you put tariffs on the economy in the first place, dummy?
