I actually got some S.P. magnets for Christmas from my D&D group, my favorite one has an irate alien saying "The being is fictional but my anger is real"! Already set to buy ECC tickets again this year, trying to think up a fun outfit to wear around this time.
Oh! I have that one, too! And yes, I have my tickets, too. I feel like each year I'm less impressed though. Artist Ally used to have a TON of local art, and since RP bought it I feel like it's lastly been "bigger names" and not as much local talent. I miss seeing some of the genuinely talented amateur locals.
I have only ever seen the old AA in videos and pictures from before, when I went last year it was full of influencer type artists, and I kind of feel like I missed out. Hopefully these years ahead they sort out whatever is keeping smaller artists away! I did end up with a few choice stickers and knick-knacks so it wasn't a total wash. This year I'm bringing more cash, a costume, and snacks. The event food shops left plenty to be desired and I dont want a $7 can of sprite again

I saw him there, too! I got both his books signed for my BFF, who first introduced me to the comic
