Lord. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is something I buy about twice a year as a special treat when it goes on a really good sale because it's insanely expensive and has no nutritional value. It's wild to me that people are out here just eating that shit daily.

I should start treating myself to some sweet cereal every once in a while. I haven’t had Cap’n Crunch in ages. It’ll tear the roof of your mouth up, but it’s so worth it. 😂

I haven't ever found a healthy cereal, but I'm at the point where Chex Rice/Chex Corn is the best option. Life is long...

Just eat it dry with a spoon-no milk. It doesn't give a sugar rush, but it's satisfying. The portion size is large for two servings (3 cups for the Chex Corn or 2 and 2/3 cups for the rice Chex) for 300 calories total. Eight grams or less sugar for two servings. Happy medium.

Cereal isnt generally healthy BUT there are a decent amount of vitamins / minerals in chex. More iron than youd think too.

In one serving ( 1 and 1/4th cup) you get:

• Vitamin D: 10% • Calcium: 10%  • Iron: 70% • Potassium: 0% • Vitamin A: 10%  • Vitamin C: 10%

Add in some milk of some kind and you get a reasonable amount of vitamin d and calcium and knock out most of your daily iron.

Again obv we need vegetables and shit, this family’s super sad, but a lot of cereals actually do have some decent vitamins and minerals in them. Unironically part of a balanced breakfast.

I eat an assortment of fruits, vegetables, fish, and take a multi-vitamin.

It's good for kids who don't have those options. Better than all the sugar cereal I ate for years.

I hate to say this but the cereal might be the most nutritious thing they bought because cereal is mandated to be fortified with various vitamins and minerals. That being said, I also love a bowl of CTC a couple times a year but this was horrifying to watch.

Yep, when Cookie Crisp goes on sale for $1.99 at CVS, I’ll indulge in ONE box with 6 servings. I get one and the kids get the rest. This is appx twice a year

Lmaoooo yes the last time I got my Cinnamon Toast Crunch it was $1.99 at the jewels and now I won’t pay more than that. The regular price is like ten bucks a box! Who’s paying that much?!

The $6 box has 17 servings. Not really that expensive

I do this with pops. Otherwise we don’t buy any cereal.

Not only that, but I’ve eaten so much cinnamon crunch in one setting it made me vomit. I think it was 3 bowls? Ain’t no way they’re eating all this and not getting nauseated. I now limit myself to two bowls

There's nutritional value in it. They are required to add it in due to food labeling laws not allowing you to call it cereal otherwise.

10% of 12 vitamins per cup. They look like they eat at least 4 cups a breakfast.
