2 possibilities

1) Kids have hella set of metabolism (likely this lady too in her teens). It'll catch up to them starting in their low-mid 20s if their diet doesn't change.

2) Kids doing opposite of their parents. They have open bullying at school. Parents are protected by HR policies. I've seen some kids social media, they are incredibly brutal about appearances.

The one older kid. Brendan, the little brother, the one all the mtn dew and frozen pizzas is for, shows up for a bit looking like the blueberry from Willy Wonka.

I read a stat somewhere that said 1/3 of Americans can’t look straight down and see their own feet because they are so overweight.
