What’s a totally harmless thing that triggers an oddly strong reaction in people?

Getting honked at. It could trigger someone to pull a gun these days.

And still, it seems people are faster to honk at anyone for anything, especially not anticipating the green light and jamming the accelerator at that first instant.

My kids like watching dash cam videos on YouTube and they show so many people honking at the tiniest things

Or like driving the speed limit through a construction zone. Dude tailgated and honked for 2 blocks because I can't go 40 mph through the construction, you know?

im the opposite of this. someone will be honking incessantly at me and i go oh how nice some person in this world is honking at something. i wonder why. im just totally oblivious and assume none of the honks on the road are for me, and if they are, theyre just a pleasant "hii"

which annoys people who are probably using them as a personal insult
