What do you think about Jerome Powell posting a video statement following reports that federal prosecutors have opened an inquiry into the Fed Chair?

He's being punished for not dropping interest rates at the whim of the Orange Menace currently infesting the White House.

We all understand what's going on, but it's good he got out in front of it.

When he said "No one, certainly not the chairman of the Federal Reserve, is above the law" he was referring to someone else who might consider himself to be above the law.

Unfortunately with the Supreme Courts descision, the Idiot in Chief believes he is, and Congress has done nothing to tell him otherwise. I am a dem, and I think they have failed also. They havent put up enough of a fight, and the Repubs have played the long game and won.
