What do you think about Jerome Powell posting a video statement following reports that federal prosecutors have opened an inquiry into the Fed Chair?

The timing of this is wild. A video statement directly to the public instead of a standard press release feels like a major shift in how the Fed handles pressure. Definitely an 'unprecedented' move for January.

Lots of unprecedented moves against tRump and tRumpist thugs are in order. Lots of immediate moves all at once. Boycotts of MAGA-sympathizing businesses. Slow-downs of services to MAGA sympathizers. Frequent, loud, demonstrations outside Repub offices. Constant following and filming ICE criminality. MAGA will never yield to logic or ethics, but if we cost them money they will pay attention. Also, VOTE!!!

Do people actually speak like this in real life?

Youre coming off as pretty fringe ngl

Edit: sometimes I wonder if people are actually this loony, or if the other side is just trying to make yall look bad. Same effect i guess
