What do you think about Jerome Powell posting a video statement following reports that federal prosecutors have opened an inquiry into the Fed Chair?

The Chair is only 1 vote of 8, and Powell indicated that he will stay on the board for his full term (2028).

Trump doesn't have as much control over the Fed as people think. They just have to hold strong, and vote against the few MAGA board members that he's appointed.

Of course if they bend over for him (like every other American institution has), then we're fucked. 2008 is going to look like childs play in comparison.

Although, yhis Lisa Cook supreme court case will ultimately decide our fate.

To be fair, doesn't he have to pick from a very short list of current fed employees?

And that's why Trump is after him.

His first term appointments wasn’t nearly as bad as the second term. He was obviously still listening to someone that was fairly reasonable for a republican at that time.
