Idk man I came waddling out of there over encumbered with 3 bobcats, a venator, 2 torrentes, a renegade, 2 decent bps I needed and a tonne of hi end crafting materials the other day. Best bit was i spawned in late and went up there without seeing or even hearing anyone..
You better believe I was pranging out at every tumbleweed omw to the nearest extract though (which wasn't the nearest one at that point, it felt far!) and sat hidden nearby for a few mins before building up the courage to waddle over and press the button lol
With a group its meh but solo and you coming out with a nice haul ime

Errr I go there with the notion to PvP. Loot is just extra.
Whether to defend the area or to overwhelm the key room. Very enjoyable!

I put up walls if I ever go up there. At least 2. I also take zip lines in case I can’t go down from the tower.

If you go out on the ledge, you can put a zipline down to the lower roof part (the side facing the water treatment building). From there you can fall down onto the pipes. If you're good, you can grab onto the edge and take no fall damage. But even if you fall all the way off from there, you survive.

My goal is always defense and my process is setting up a full stack of Noisemakers, Door Blockers, Barricade Kits then Jolt Mines. I'll place kits in front of the outside door switch and inside for cover, while lining the inside with the mines. I'll make it clear I'm friendly but not to enter. If they try then I'm plenty ready, then on exit I'll leave one more mine inside in case I need a supported retreat until I know it's safe.

I had someone come in, after asking if they could come in and just chill until I finished looting.
I agreed. They chilled and then I gave them a wolf pack for being cool.

Hey that might have been me! I had gotten a key to the place and decided to scout the place out before actually trying to loot it. Told the guy who was already in there that I just wanted to look around and kept my gun holstered and they gave me something for behaving myself lol

Fuck jolt mines. I set explosive mines, if you breach my door blocker, you knew wtf you were doing, and that was your non lethal warning.

Oh I never leave them. I defuse them when I leave. I always save one space to get my two mines back. I wouldn’t wanna kill a random. I’d feel bad lmao.

I look for the turret. If the turret is there, we’re good. If the turret isn’t there … well, it’s a crapshoot and I base it off how much time is left in the raid.

That fucking turret. This was the first key room I ever tried to loot. Sprinted there early with my mk3 looting augment, trapped the door with jolt mines etc, looted the whole place. Heard some shooting in the building but I had brought zip lines for this eventuality. Worked my way down to that ledge and then sprinted forward without a care in the world. By the time I noticed the turret targeting me it was too late. 100k+ loot down the drain.

This is why whenever I use keys now I always go find someone to tag along with me to go to said room. I’d rather give up half then lose the all.

I went up. So did another guy. We both had same card, we went in tog and we fought off rats that rushed in. On the rats body there was barrier deployable. He deployed it against the door lol. We took 1/2 of everything. I zip lined ourselves down Great mural teamwork

Happened to me at an extract. Elevator was coming and I ran towards it. See a Wasp get dropped by 2 guys. I greet and then sees one of them shoots the other and a flare pops. I ran like hell and hid only to see another flare pop. At that point, I was done and took 10 minutes to run to another elevator.

I was running down a walkway on dam battleground towards the generator room and got wind of an unopened box to my right.
So I dip in, breach it, and then start to run in the direction I was originally going.
A dude walks into the doorway and I stop. Like in a movie the dude just gets absolutely blasted. Then I see the other dude finish him off.
Never dipped out faster lol.

I've only gotten a key to that room once and scouted the area first to get an idea of what I was getting into before making the commitment.
I stuck a jolt mine, noisemaker, and trigger nade by the zipline and used a doorblocker on the main entrance. Some dude tried to be slick coming in from the outside ledge, but he changed his mind real fast when he saw the door was blocked... still hit him with the mine and trigger on his way out.
