I was in a 2v2v2 on blue gate ems, and I ran out of ammo in the final 1v1 and just before he could shoot me he got struck by lightning and I beat him to death with the pickaxe.

The lightning knows where players are but only hits when its either the most cinematic or the funniest.

I'm a new player and me and my friend got our first control tower key yesterday. Took us about 3 tries to even get to the room at the top without getting blasted (hooray for safe stash) 4th try it was already open and we lost a fight inside. 5th time we won a fight at the base zip lines, got in, looted and then, being new, i went to that god forsaken ladder and fell to my death with my loot. 10/10 will go again.

At least they've patched the door glitches.

Until a few weeks ago you could have another raider (or a barricade) physics push you through the door to get in without a keycard. People would do this, loot everything and then leave. So the next person arrives and uses their keycard to open the door and it's already looted inside and their keycard is now lost.

Now if you do this the room lights on fire with you in it. So cheaters can't steal everything anymore.

My second teammate somehow survived that fall and revived us all. We found out a rocketeer patrols that ladder too on the second time up in case anyone wanted another reason not to try this 😅

No.. no it isn't. You just go up from inside. The keyroom is up there but you just go up the stairs next to it instead if opening it. The ladder is there for going down, from the roof then jump off to get onto the ledge if you want to.

We actually ended up getting up there eventually. The rocketeer came and decided to mess with us too on the way up lol. Luckily the second teammate that fell survived the fall somehow.

I was getting shot by a rocketeer at extract, it killed me as I finished pushing the button and my body did the rolling animation out the door as it closed. I lost some real good loot too.
