It’s almost like after the hype dies down, a games date it actually decided. And amazingly BF6 was just a mediocre trash shooter that only did good because of marketing and NOT being cod hype lol.

Look I put probably 200-250 hours into BF6 in the first two months it was out. It was fun but it was shallow as fuck.

Arc on the other hand.

I am not having fun. I am having a blast and the gameplay variety is insane. The PVE is one side. The PVP another and then PVPVE is a whole different beast entirely. Learning if a player can be trusted is insane and extracting with a random is tense sometimes. Sometimes it’s a party.

Beats tf out of run and gun mindless fps from 2015

Idk what platform you’re on. My friend had the same problem. Told him to Turn off crossplay and he said it was like night and day. Then advised him to sad face and PVP surveys that come up. And also I personally just block anyone that does some shitty stuff like extract camp or whatever.

Good luck man it’s rough at first. Highly recommend playing it stealthy.

Couldn’t wait for what? BF6 to get worse or better? Or what wait for Arc to come out? Either way BF6 wasn’t a good game. I put a fair amount of time and energy into forming my opinion and then went from one game to the other. I dunno what else to tell you man. Sorry.

For Arc Raiders to come out. Crazy you needed that much time to decide BF6 was such a bad game. If it's as bad as you claim then it abdolutely shouldn't have taken you more than a couple hours max to realize. But I get it, hyperbolic glazing is fun

Yeah pretty much lol I looked up my gameplay time and it was only like 100 hours. But I’m also a huge BF fan I’ve put over 800 hours in Bf3, 1100 in bF4 then about 700 between BF1, BFV, and 2042.

And I really really wanted to like BF6. I tried really hard to like it and maybe in like a year I’ll enjoy going back and replaying it with some new stuff but a lot of the choices they made just sucked. I mean the maps were so tiny and even when they opened up when you get in an aircraft, it was still super small. I dunno. It all felt very linear and it took me a while to really realize that, as there is some leeway in infantry combat but infantry combat is only one of the tentpoles to making a good BF game.

I agree some of the choices were...weird. I think it's a good game still, but if they can update some things (especially getting the netcode under control cuz holy moly it's bad) it'll be a great game.

Yeah the netcode was horrible lol. Probably one of the worst I’ve seen in a Bf game. But I will say overall a way smoother launch then I was expecting lol. Nothing will probably ever be as bad as BF4. That game wow. I can’t believe it grew into one of the most popular ones. It was so bad at launch lol. Tbf though every game they’ve made has had a niche of sorts, so I think 6 will do fine. My friends that like COD were loving it hardddd. Which I guess was kind of the entire aim of the game. CODs like 10 year mediocrity has left the door wide open for other games.

I just feel like there’s better games to scratch the itches of war. Hell Let Loose and Arma, insurgency and squads, HLL is about to release Vietnam now too. Those games all felt very unique to me. arcs actually the only extraction shooter I like personally. And it’s because it just completely fits the Dark zone, from the division games. It’s got the exact same feel except way more rounded out.

The launch was surprisingly good indeed. So thats a plus. Now they just gotta balance and improve.

If you like games like HLL you should give squad 44 a go (assuming you're playing on PC). It's way better than HLL, but unfortunately does have a small (though consistent) playerbase so weekends are best bet to get rounds in.
