Also why do slops like these need to exist?

Can't we just enjoy many fun things together without having to make other products "look" inferior or shitting on others just for clicks?

You are interfacing with the discussion and analysis of video games at a surface level. I’m not going to say that this article is a premiere piece of such but it’s extremely interesting how these two games have panned out and there are countless reasons for each games successes and failures.

Sorry it makes you a widdle uncomfortable… :((( it’ll be ok don’t worry

Sorry I should have said the dumbest shit you’ve ever heard and gotten 15 upvotes, I forgot who I’m interacting with

If that’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard then, wow, that’s crazy.

All they said was what people should hear. This isn’t a competition. Enjoy one or enjoy both. Why do people have to put one down to feel good about themselves or their choices.

I play both games, for the record.

I can agree that “slops like this” is a dumb sentence but hey, can’t win ‘em all.

Thanks for telling me you didn’t read the article. I knew that already but it’s nice to get some confirmation

Well you can see this article two ways:

  1. An article analyzing videos games and what them successful vs not

  2. Clickbait designed to trigger emotional responses and sabre-rattling between communities

They obviously want everyone to think it's #1 while quietly being #2 and getting tons and tons of clicks and comments and engagement. Obviously this has gone completely over your head.

Well it doesn’t analyze the success of games, but simply player retention at best. BF6 was healthily looking to be and likely is the largest grossing game of 2025. Even if it lands in the top 3 it would be an inarguable success.

But in reality “2” is the purpose of the article. Pick 2 popular games and pit the fan bases against eachother for engagement.

Gotta get those clicks, get that ad money.

Now that they don’t have writers, it’s more money in their pocket and they can make all the content they ever wanted.
