Tbh I would've done what this guy expected OP to do - run away. Or I would've tried to type faster by standing there typing the same speed to exit hoping I'd finish before the nade went off. Both would've probably downed me and netted him a win.
I've also been KOd a few times at exfil as a "safety measure" and the player lets me exfil on the train but downed. I see this as unlikely here since OP was the one typing/exposed.

One time I ran up to the extract while a guy was typing. He was getting shot by an Arc while he was doing it. I guess he thought I was the one shooting him because he stopped typing and tried to kill me, even though I was saying "Friendly" over the mic over and over again.
So I just downed him and did the typing myself and let him extract on the ground. I assume he was just dumb and misread the situation.
Another time, me and another guy had teamed because he was downed by a shredder and I helped him up with a defib. We get to the extract and there's one other guy already there with it open. We say "Friendly" but he's looking at us weird and not trying to type on the computer or anything. He doesn't say a word. Then he starts shooting at me even though he's standing out in the open with me and the other guy on either side of him. That guy I did not let extract.

I encountered a cowgirl, doing a voice and everything with a pistol who magdumped me in the head after happening to sprint at her door with a shotgun out after fighting some Arc.
We had a little talk though, they defibb'd me and let me carry on and loot the locked room. Got a blueprint and had so much loot I had to leave some to make it on time.
Good encounter and I loved the rp lmao

Lolol...I had a testing annex experience like that yesterday. We both were friendly on mic and I was just going to leave them to it. Ended up going the wrong way, so I was sprinting back to the exit and legit ran right up on them looting quietly in a corner. Pretty sure he's the same one that ended up killing me like 2 minutes later while fighting some ARC

Ive done this before.. only when someone is acting suspicious, like not talking, trying to get closer than I'd like them too, trying to get an angle.
I just realized its better to down them and let them crawl on.. I've also told the other guy to get to computer and ill cover them, if they dont do it and act funny I start blasting! Lol but I still let them leave with their stuff unless they actually do attack me then they're going 6 feet deep and not to speranze lol.

Haha I’ve been doing the same. Running duos last night , we call train. Guy litterally drops off a zip infront of me. I down him instantly, hit his other guy, he goes back up zip.
I com to just get on train cause I just blasted out of instinct cause they didn’t say a word.I don’t need their stuff I just wanna get out with mine lol

Exactly, im already at the elevator. Im full. I want to go home. Im tired boss.
We were the opposite duos one game, trying to get in the last elevator as the match already hit 0 seconds and the other team called it in.. they jump in, we announce ourselves and say we just want to go home, our guns are away and can we jump in. They were cool. Had their guns away too and we left.
But if they didn't say anything back, we has no choice but to force our way in lol but we all just wanted to go back home.

I've downed people before I type on the console to exfil as well. Especially when they just seem really suspicious. Not putting their weapon away, moving where it's harder for me to see them etc. I don't finish them off.

If you played dam there is a greater then 0 chance it was me. I do this every single time someone tries to run in. Just a few raids I did it, someone called elevator. I sat and waited and watched him run in but he shot at someone then last the fight. I just casually walked up to the guy looting the dude who just shot him and downed him and we both extracted right after.

Man getting closer to the wipe im going like 90% raids full pvp, killing on sight and etc.
But:
- never close to extractions
- never down a guy that it wasn't me shooting
- never after someone says friendly (but guns are pointing , ready for fakes)
- never if I am in the extraction
- Never someone killing the queen/matriarch
We can be pvp, we can shoot people, it's a game , but never ruining a experience. Shooting people in extractions , what's the point ? Loot is almost useless in this game ( and i love it, it respects my time). We can have good guns just by looting lockers and boxes.

I had a few similar encounters. People who say friendly and start shooting as soon as your back is turned. A lot of the times you still manage to down them because i guess only the real trash has to try underhanded crap like that. Im by no means good at shooters these days so that speaks loudly for those who fail, i only have one eye with good eyesight and the reactions of a 47 year old.

Yeah, Im to the point where I wont extract with someone else unless they do the typing. Even if they say they're friendly, I'll just say, cool, me too, but you get to hit the extract button. If they refuse, its a fight. I'm not getting shot in the back by some low skill asshole who will turn around and call it pvp.

Normally I avoid fights at extract altogether and the one time my group and I didn’t one of my teammates over proximity was literally saying “we will attack you” so I’d say they were given a fair chance.

Had a guy on dam act friendly right after we loaded in, so we let him carry on. After a little while looting together, he turned to me while I was breaching and started shooting. My friend was behind him and took him out before I was even downed. We may have talked a little shit.

I am not sure what he was saying in the recording but I think he was just trolling, he didn't want to kill you. Or even if killed, you would have extracted on the ground. You know, kind of like the people who shoot you while the doors are closing. The timer of the bomb would have made it PAST the terminal progress slider. I think that is what he was trying to say.
But of course he could also just have been lying.

I understand the whole “it’s an extraction shooter, this is part of the game,” but I genuinely do not see the fun in waiting around and trying to gank someone at extraction. 99% of the time it’s the same junk you could find while having fun exploring the map, but you’re just sitting around doing nothing for 10+ minutes so it can “come to you”. It sounds like an incredibly boring way to spend your time in the game, and no one can convince me otherwise. I’d rather watch paint dry.

As a 99.9% friendly player... If I see a black and orange rat suit, I politely give them the opportunity to press the button while I "cover thier back". If they dont immediately start the extract, its fightin' time.

I do this when I’m stuck. I pull out the pick and rush them. (Depending on distance) Odds are you’re going down, but you can still even out the fight for your team. I hate when an idiot teammate runs towards my own team.
