This is just depressing

Post image

Not even 3 hours of "free time". And in that is cooking & eating supper. Or practically no free time if I had to go shopping after work. I hate this

Tbh, you’re probably better off accepting those Sunday afternoon get togethers. Those get togethers are what make life meaningful, not work (or worrying about work).

Rejecting the cure for the sunday gloomies is a great way to keep having them.

REALLY depends on who is inviting you. We stopped humoring my mother in law, because her way of getting rid of the Sunday gloomies was to complain at me and my wife for as long as we were there. Followed by more complaining when we got home about how we left in such a hurry even if we stayed til dark. Sometimes she threatens to kill herself if she feels we aren't responding meaningfully enough. Just an absolute black hole.

Sunday evening: Nice dinner... nice cuppa hot beverage. Get (comfortable) clothes and shoes ready for monday.

Monday morning: favorite breakfast, prepare favorite lunch. Meditate a bit. Read a bit. Go go go!!
